Here I am again, 72 year old boomer guy, awestruck and trying to see the keyboard through teary eyes as I type words of high praise for First To Eleven. I turned 20 years of age the week in November, 1969, when the original Beatles single "Come Together" reached #1 on the U.S. chart. Your cover of the song is fresh, bold and authentic. The incendiary arrangement and Audra's vocal approach deviate in delightful ways from the original and the many carbon copy covers I have heard over the years. Once again you have proven that no decade in music is off limits to you. You have demonstrated that you are completely worthy and fully capable of handling material from any time period by any artist, even the biggest band of the 20th century, The Beatles. Thank you, Audra and guys, for creating another new classic of the 21st century!

I'm 71 years old and this song was from my youth era. You had me tapping my feet so....great job. Loved it.

This arrangement is nothing like the original, it does not remimnd me of the orig at ALL. I think you suffer from " I ain't heard the original at all, but she has a pretty face-syndrome". They did not do a good job on Guns And Roses Paradise City, and they did not do a proper job on this one. If you like covers, and u like them correct, check out "Foxes and Fossils", or check out "Lexington Lab Band".
@@kevinkelley3657 well, they haven't done a cover of Paradise City, so, yeah, that explains them not doing a good job of it. . Also, stop preaching like there's some "proper" way to do covers. Covers shouldn't be carbon copies of songs (which this one is still very recognizable with the original). Covers are a way for artists to get creative and show different sides and interpretations of a song. There's no wrong answer to it.

One to one copy no one will ever be as good, but this is how you do a cover of the Beatles, you make it original and pour your soul into every note.

So dope! I love the breakdown at 2:12, and the stops here and there. Makes it so much punchier when the band kicks in again. Also what the drummer does with his bass drum (the triplets here and there, for example at 1:45 or during the breakdown at 2:23).
In general, the sound is so focused and tight and heavy. So good!

I, I, I love, love, love this.I was a high school freshman when the Beatles appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show. Gary Halfmoon & I were so excited the next day that we agreed to attend school the next day with bangs. We did and we got a lot of grief. One teacher threw an eraser at me.

Never been a big fan of The Beatles but they have some good songs with some really strong riffs, which even stands up in today's world. This song is one of the one and very well adopted and played. Congrats!

I've always been a big fan of the Beatles and this was a brilliant cover. Most people do straight covers of their songs, so it's great to finally hear a heavier interpretation. Worked really well as.

I thought that I knew this song, but you somehow re-invent it here. Your covers only get better and better and I'm sure that you realize that Sam is a better drummer than he may ever get credit for as I don't think that everyone notices. Even the tiniest of his fills are gems and he seems to produce them endlessly.

Last post - Anderson. I am " the only Andersen. Here me clearly. At age 63 and played for 40 years at least, I will back you, and my band. The best moments in life. First To Eleven. Glad I made it to see the best that humans can create. Incredible. I love the fact, that I saw the very best humanity has given us. I think this band is the best to ever walk any planet. I played for well over 40 years, I am on many albums, hot albums. I am nothing. The Voice. This women, is everything. Nobody will be better than her voice.

Really awesome! I've been a Beatles fan since '64. It's the 1st music I can Remember since I was born 3 weeks after their 1st appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. 58 years later, I still love their music. I would love to hear your take on their hit 'Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da (Life Goes On)'.
