Hello Jax. Great and helpful video as always! I love it! Can you consider adding video chapters for your videos? Maganda kasi balik balikan minsan yung ibang parts. Thank you!
So happy for this new update! 🥰 2023 nag apply ako for Gcash card nang dahil sa video mo po then this year 2024 I'll apply for seabank. Thank you for this info po! ❤
Thanks Jax. I actually used gcash and seabank last nov when i went to japan bec you suggested it nung nag ask ako sa comment sa tiktok. I also did my own computation and yes i totally agree mas ok si gcash and seabank. Sobrang informative and helpful ng mga contents mo kaya thank you so much. ☺️
nabitin ako sa fb i need to finish your videos kasi its so easy to understand 😊 sayang lang nung nag travel kami overseas puro cash payments kami i forgot to use my cards sa sobrang excitement 😅
@ i will get a Gotym card and Gcash card. I always bring foreign currency from money changers before i leave. I’ll try getting it in the country nextntime.
A very informative and useful video! It really helps budget travellers like us to stretch our hard earned money. 😊 More power and success to your vlogs!
Gcash is generally good. It just doesn’t work in all banks and shops even if they accept other Visa cards in Taiwan. It’s better to have backup for Taiwan. In Japan and others, I didn’t have any problems with it. It’s a debit card so need to exercise caution since it doesn’t have the same protection as credit cards.
I’ve been to KL last week and used both my gcash visa debit and maya visa debit to buy tickets. Both are accepted. I used my gcash debit to withdraw some cash at an atm (maybank) and pay the train ticket at ktm train and then my maya debit to pay for a bus and cable car ticket when I visited genting highlands.
@ yes super ok at very convenient. For the info of everybody who may be traveling to KL also in the future, not all stores, cafes/restaurants, even trains does not accept cash anymore, you’ll have to use cards for payment so very handy talaga pag may dala kang debit cards. Example merchants that don’t accept cash anymore are Bean Brothers and then KTM train

Hi! New subs here ❤ Very informative 🎉 may i also ask old na kase ung Gcash ko and hindi na makapag add ngayon.. and its a Mastercard. okay lang ba un? parang mas okay kase ang Gcash Visa card.😅 thank you
Ginamit ko gcash and seabank dati pambili ng concert ticket sa malaysia, gulat ako na yung difference nila is around 3-5 pesos lang that time. Meanwhile my friend na ginamit yung gotyme niya nasa 80+ yung difference from gcash/seabank. Lagi ko na ginagamit gcash for withdrawals, seabank for payments kaya di na ako natatakot na baka may problem or down si gcash kasi may seabank.
Hello Jax! Curious ako. Same computation din ba if you use your card to tap to pay (Gcash visa card) vs yung pagscan ng QR code for payment using your phone (sample Gcash Alipay)? :) Thank you for these info
Jax great work! Tanong lang the gcash visa ay credit card? Or base sa gcash limit mo of 50k? And di mo na ma gamit if exceed sa 50k ? Or we can top up gcash more than 50k for use abroad?
Jex, please po do a video comparing withdrawing outside of the country kapag nagtatravel abroad vs money exchange dito sa philippines before travelling . Thank you.
Hello Jax! Can I ask regarding the Seabank cards, pag nagppay ako via machine with PIN. It says "Transaction not Allowed" what does it mean kaya? Just asking if ever na-encounter mo na sya. Thank you!
Hi Sir. Jax, napakadang comparison ang ginawa mo in a form of table. Applicable din ho ba ito for credit card? Because I do have RCBC, SECB, MetroBank, and EW credit cards.
Yes. Same bank fee. Withdrawal fee varies by ATM operator, and please take note of foreign withdrawal fees charged by the local cards on top of the withdrawal fees charged by ATM operator. GCash - 0 GoTyme - 0 Maya - 200 php Seabank - 250 php
