it’s almost like 1/3, yes i counted, an entire THIRD of the fouls came in the last five minutes when ole miss was begging for anything to keep them in the game. ole miss played a HELL of a game, but it objectively was not enough
It is easy to say 35-23 free throws is a really good defense. Most of Auburn's free throws came in the last two minutes when you were making obvious fouls.
Defensively Auburn is wayyyy better than they showed. Didn’t defend the paint well at all and part of that is broome being limited with ankle and shoulder now so he played timidly on defense. Offensively this is a historic offense. It is the best statistically per 100 possessions in kenpom era which started in 90s
