Meh. They went with someone who was prepared to commit. On top of that Lindsay is actually starting to outpace Simon in some polls.
We did not miss on him. We have the #1 and another top 10 RB. I could not imagine a top 10 rated RB coming into a class with 2 top 10 RBs. No room.
We will be fine without him but why do so many fans act like we don’t want someone just because they choose another school. We wanted him, we offered him, he picked another school. Kid is a stud and best of luck to him in his future because he’s going to be a star. Hopefully we can flip him before he puts pen to paper.
We don't need another RB. Lindsey already has Simon's spot. It's done.
Simon evaluated his playing time prospects in Baton Rouge and decided his opportunities were better in Austin. Good luck, James! One more scholarship freed up to offer a blue chip DT! Geaux! Tigers!

Texas RB room blows LSU out of the water……Jaydon Blue , Cedric Baxter no 1 in country , Tre wisner, jerrick Gibson no 2 in country and Christian Clark who might end up being the best of the group just underrated……they also have a 3 star walk on and those are all one campus……only blue is a jr the rest are freshmen and sophmores

You just don't get it. You guys have recruited RBs, but they are not as good as LSU's RBs. I've seen your guys, they are damn good, but the squad LSU will have in 2025 scared the s**t out of Simon 😂. Kaleb Jackson, Durham, and Berry, scared the hell out of him. Lindsey is also faster than him.

Texas is going to get alot of recruits just being in the SEC because now these kids don't have to choose Texas a&m to play in the league. As a matter of fact a&m will lose recruits to Texas because they are the better Texas school.

@blakedowling8182 i can understand what you're saying, but you will have 3 next year plus the two you bring in the 2025 class for a total of five. The RB position isn't like other positions where guys leave immediately if they aren’t the #1 guy. Also, you can easily pick up a transfer RB for emergency help. No need to waste scholarships on a 6th RB, ESPECIALLY, since they are talking about cutting down the amount of kids you can have on roster (that includes walkons). It's not hard to find a 5'10 200lb FCS RB and say, I'll give you 50k to just sit on the bench for emergency, for a year. And that's if you go to the lowest level you can reach.
We’re good at RB, we need some defensive recruits. I don’t think BK wants to get into bidding wars in the portal again for defensive players.
We didn't miss out on Simon. We have Barry and Lindsey and we didn't need 3 RB signings with Caden Durham coming in this year
Anybody with football sense should have known Simon was not coming to LSU. RB room is STACKED. Plus LSU showed him they will not wait by signing Lindsey.

Two top RB’s in the class is plenty at that position,why would he come into a full RB room,need to worry about getting Moore recommitted or another one of those top WRs and focus on the Defense too
Recruiting wise, yes, we need to step it up concerning the defense.

Right now the offensive kids committed early. Summer is when recruiting really pops off for every school. This is the time when Saban would go from like 30th ranked to top 3.
