DIY Tree-Inspired Pen Holder from Plastic Bottle & Clay | Upcycled Craft

In this video, I’m transforming a waste plastic bottle into a stunning pen holder that resembles the bottom part of a tree with roots, leaves, and flowers. This creative upcycling project is easy to follow and results in a unique, nature-inspired desk accessory.
Here’s how I made it: I cut the plastic bottle more than halfway and rolled up some newspaper, which I then pasted around the bottle. Next, I applied glue and covered the entire surface with tissue paper. To give it a textured look, I mixed plaster of Paris with water and spread it evenly over the tissue paper, creating a rough, bark-like texture. Once dry, I used clay to shape small leaves and flowers and attached them to the tree base. Finally, I painted the entire piece to bring it to life.
This pen holder is not only functional but also a beautiful piece of decor that adds a touch of nature to your workspace. Plus, it's made entirely from recycled materials!

1.Cut the plastic bottle and roll the newspaper around it.
2.Apply glue and paste tissue paper over the newspaper.

4.Create leaves and flowers from clay and attach them to the base.
