Problem is macfarland keeps digging himself a hole with our cap space. Every trade or move he makes, wi ds up costing us more in the long run. Yeah, we signed mitts, kept toews, sig Ed Blackwell, but all that just gets us farther from extending Miklos. U less they can cut someone (hopefully girard) they won't have the money.

Macfarland needs to cut the middling guys like Girard, mitts, toews. If we lose one of our big three, the team will plummet.
If the problem is tv viewership, who in the world cares how many people you can put in stands at the winter classic? Right now it’s such an awkward jam to shove it in a massive nfl or baseball stadium with people sitting a hundred yards from the ice.
I think it’s a sign that the avs are a contender…I understand the players needing to stick to the company line of, “that’s our guy” and “he’s not the problem” (gieorgiev) but in reality, he was, and goaltending in general. they couldn’t confidently go out and play their fast paced game, knowing that they couldn’t count on him to make routine and timely saves. Now, they have goalies that they can trust. Which is huge for cutting lose superstars like mackinnon, rantanen, and makar. And when those guys are loose and flowing, there isn’t more of a dominant 3 in the league!
Macfarland keeps paying big money to guys that aren't worth it. Namely, girard, Colton, toews and mitts. He's a crap gm. Honestly wouldn't doubt it if we lose rantanan.
deferring money is just a good retirement plan , cause yea your only getting paid to play , why not make it so u got money coming in when you retire , thats pretty smart
mikko could take less and defer money and or take less and do bonus' goals and apples ,200-400k per 20 a piece he could sign for 11 mil and do that and if he keeps this up would make more like that ,either way it better be the full 8 years i want him to retire in an avs jersey
lol the cost to put a rink on alcatraz would be insane lmao like 10-20 million for one game lol never ever gonna happen ,putting outdoor games in tropical climates is costly as it is , now add it having to pack,boat and airdrop all the equipment to keep the ice cold lol most of those would be cool ideas for the playstation game lol central park and lake louise are the only 2 i could see happening and they would be sweet ,lake louise is amazing f not there some place in jasper would be a hit ,would help with he recovery of the town aswell

The Avs doesn't want anyone to get pay more than Macca $12.6m and Mikko want $14m it going to be a problem.
