I knew Chris when she was in Chicken Shack and I was playing in another local band in the Black Country. We all knew each other. I remember we all shared the same old Transit van to a gig once. She was the nicest person you could ever wish to meet. Rest easy Christine.

Personally i think it was a beautiful, honest performance.
You all clearly don't know what Christine has gone through during her 18 years of retirement. She became a recluse, had fear of flying and had to seek a therapist to get over her fears. She's still getting used to being back in the music scene, she did not sing or play the piano at all for years, give her a fucking break. Yes, she was pitchy and seemed nervous on the piano. So what?!! She's allowed! She's 73 years old and she's putting herself out there, she's a legend! I hope she keeps doing performances like this.

She has been for the last 20 years ill.
She went away for a reason and of course her voice isnt going to be as it was.
Her age and christine hasnt done no were near as much singing as she would have done over those 20 years as she would have done if she had toured constantly.
The singing voice has to be constantly used for it to be as good as it can be.

Ye gods, I'm so saddened to know that she is no longer with us. She softened the pain of boarding school life during the 70s. I would dream she was singing her songs to me and only me. I've had a crush on Christine McVie all my life since then and so news of her death has come like a hammer blow. I loved her intelligence, her huge musical talent and her good grace, humility and quiet authority. What a superstar she was and always will be. God speed you well, gorgeous Christine. If there's a life after this, you will surely be there. R xxx
I listened to this song over and over again while I was pregnant. It was this song that rocked the growing love that I was feeling.
Personally I love this, Christine sings this with lots of feeling and that's the most important thing , and her new album with Lindsey is just amazing . A lovely lady too !!

The only person that can sing exactly the same as she did when she was 25 is Judith Durham. Who sadly like Christine is no longer with us.
12 years ago , i sat on my back door step at 4 am . A few weeks after my wife left , i lost my kids , that whole breakup was destroying me ,
I played my ipod on shuffle , sat on my back porch with the headphones on .. (this song played ) and i could hear all the birds around me singing so loudly in their morning chorus ..
ive never cried so much in my life …
Sometimes you just need to let it out , for then to recover …it was an absolute moment of heartache and reassurance that i will be ok , x
