Did you have to play around to find a good depth for the kerf cut or do you recall a good depth for that ? Where did you source the maple plywood (home depot, local place, etc.)?
I say it is a great idea but I would not want to sit on that chair for long.. All the work, lovely curves and than you sit on a flat board (unless you say "thats design for you"')

Shape And Explore thanks, that was just blue painters tape to help with the glue removal. The curve with glue alone is pretty rigid.
