  • flyafrica morning flight Z7-120 with Chief Training Captain Rob Waghorn and Senior First Officer Kurai Kuimba doing the flying. Flight starts at the gate in the cockpit with checks and then taxi to runway 03L at OR Tambo in Johannesburg and ends just a few seconds after take-off, watch part 2 for the landing in Harare.

    Currently flying this airplane, not as fancy as the G550 or 737NG, but it's a wonderful airplane to fly.
    If it ain't a BOEING (or Gulfstream), I damn sure aint going !!!

    I miss the B737CL, was my first type for 8 years. now the A320, i only taxi and she fly lol

    pretty sure that's a 737-200 - the 500 had the more modern cockpit.

      either hes ex-air foce and used to the feel, or he has sweaty hands and uses them for grip, or its an optional part of the uniform (e.g. Japan).

    737-500 got digital gauges. This is probably one 737-300

      early models had dials, even the DC9/MD80 has a similar story (having certain aircraft with dials or digital readings).

      No this is a 737-500. All Boeing 737 Classic series has different cockpit options. This one with CRT monitors and some analog gauges is one of the cockpit options.

      I see that it's not 737-500 because the engine displays are diffrent than 737-400, they are more analog in this plane like in 737-300

    Around the world is too hard you see a black person riding an aircraft. I guess that its because of the social conditional between blacks and whites. To you make a pilot course you need expand a lot money paying the flight hours.
