As a 3 time HAR Annual Top Producer with over 300 MLS transactions, all I have to say is that you NAILED IT. Most video creators don't understand this (and neither do the majority of so called 'realtors' out there =/)
Honestly man you are the best in making video, you educate me, you make me laugh (positively and respectfully) and you are video kicks bottoms!!! Power to you!!!
Yes I have started doing a 45-90 second video option. I call it the highlight video or Social Media Video. SO far that has gone over really well, I used youtube analytics to prove that most people click off within 90-120 seconds. Do you add price for shooting areas around the house? QUESTION: how do you light a darker home so that the windows are not blown out? I am and have been struggling with that since forever.
Love your approach. I’m a Broker in Miami looking for good cinematographer that can help me with my companies real estate videos. Someone who understands how to incorporate everything you mentioned on this video. Do you have anyone you recommend in Miami?
@@GettingNegative hey thanks for asking. I finished my video a while back, and happy with the turn out. I got the zhiyun crane 3S and shot it with my C200 in 4k. I know it was a bit over kill, but the c200 was my weapon of choice so I had the perfect project to use and figure the capabilities of the Zhiyun Crane 3 ruclips.net/video/C_WADTGNc84/видео.html I actually have another house to shoot in a few weeks, once it gets staged. And Thanks again Brandon W. great advice
I’ve seen a LOT of garbage advice and samples on RUclips …listen to THIS GUY! I’ve won awards for my real estate videos, and mostly following my own beat - which is a LOT like his! So Brandon, brother, don’t let anyone tell you you don’t know what’s up, and try not to be discouraged by “cheap” agents who don’t understand the value of what we do. They are bottom feeders. Work with the Agents who “get it”. They are usually the top producers! Peace!
@@loudandclearmedia Well I know that, and you know that, but this guy (with the way he worded it) sounds like he wants to use a mask or something? Maybe just overlay an image of Elmo. The kids will love it!
Wait, really!? They are a dime a dozen! The hardest thing if finding a realtor….who understands the intrinsic value of their video, and is willing to pay for it! If you are a bottom feeder, you deserve the $300 they are gonna pay you ;)
The main thing real estate videos are boring are the 100% use of a gimbal and one lens. That goes for any other type of shoot. You have to have locked off shots, slider shots, medium shots, closeups, details. Again, that goes for every other type of shoot, but for some reason people love to shoot everything on a gimbal with one wide lens, and that screams a beginner :)
Hey would you recommend the bmpcc 4k for shooting real estate videos? I have no experience in video making what so ever (that would probably be a big reason why not to chose the 4k) plus it would be important for me to have a camera/softver wich with editing and grading does not take too long (of course im willing to put the time and effort into it but i don't want to go with a camera/ system that takes twice as long as others) some say editing/grading with the 4k ( especially in prores but pritty much braw as well ) can be easy and fast others say the exact opposit. Te MAIN REASON that makes me want to by the 4k is image quality. I'm considering the sony a 7iii, panasonic gh5, and fuji xt3 as well but real estate vidios shot on the bmpcc 4k are way superior to those( again i don't know anything about vidio making so it can be the difference in the lenses or the vidiographers but i find it hard to believe that nobody can get it right with the other cameras) and by image quality a don't mean just clearity and sharpness but the way the bmpcc 4k/6k videos make you feel like you are actually in the apartment and viewing it in person (it has a more 3d look to it) and it would be important for me to have that much nicer vidos that the competition as long as it does not take that much more time to put a video together. Some says that for real estate videos those hybrid cameras would be better because of the run and gun capabilities but with real estate there is no fast movements dont need no autofocus, maybe setting it up takes more time but other than that why is the 4k a bad choice? I also have to mention that i would do mainly apartments so would film more indoors, would the low light capabilities be enough for that enviroment? Thank you so much in advence for your reply!! Pleas go easy on me as i mentioned before far from being an expert on this topic:)
András Szél You don't need 4K unless you're planning on showing your video on a large screen tv or in a theater. 1080 is fine. Plus, like you said, it takes a lot of processing power to deal with 4K. Even if you use proxies, that's a ton of time making them and exporting in the end.
Dynamite video (content)... BW, in your Real Estate Video Course under Chapter 7 'Shooting' you have 'Reveling Shots'... do you mean 'Revealing Shots' - planning on taking your course soon - subbed, liked and sharing - thanks again...
Don't hate me. Constructive criticism. First off, love the content. Great ideas and great content. However, the background music is a bit loud and your intensity kinda turns me off to wanting to watch. I want to see more content, but I don't want to feel barraged while doing so haha
I agree even having 70 pictures on the mls. Come on people have short attention spans now. Even if I’m doing a video just because I love real estate I keep I short so they have to contact me to see the whole house
My biggest problems are: videos are dark (with low ISO) or noisy (with hight ISO). Lens is wide 14mm 2.8 clips I shoot doesn't look good - even if its 4K on Sony A7III - quality sucks like I shoot this with iphone. Or actually iphone probably looks better...
Spot on advice! But how come you don't answer any of the questions and comments dude? Only when someone criticizes you, you show up to say something. That's a bit off-putting, like you don't appreciate your followers...
@@bwashmedia well you're offering courses just like him on real estate where a lot of info can already be found for free on RUclips. Your iPhone real estate video for example, 2 problems with this. First off if a realtor sees you shooting with an iPhone they are going to be wondering why they spent money on you in the first place when they have one inside their pocket that they could've used (even you mention this is a problem but still say that you could probably go ahead and charge anyways as long as they don't see what you're using.) mind you zillow app has a feature where agents can literally shoot with their phone and upload it directly to their listing. 2nd if a realtor comes across your video now he realizes all he needs is a cheap little gimbal to get decent results with his phone, you have now effectively removed a potential client from the market of that given area. Explain how this is benefiting videographers? I'm assuming you've already built up a clientele so now you had an idea to create a course to sell to people which will in turn oversaturate the market even more lol I enjoy a lot of your content but I'm just calling it out as I see it
geoff0707 He shot 1 clip with his phone, and he e plains why, which is a valid reason. A professional realtor has no idea how to edit. Professionals know their boundaries, and they know to pay others to do the things they can't.

I think capcut does the trick

Very good video you did.
Good video! Is any discount on BlackFriday? I really want to take how to shoot video on Canon camera and iPhoto.

sorry, but this was kind of clickbait from your thumbnail
I don’t think so, they suck cuz they’re boring.

Great video friend! Creating a content such as this is very time consuming. Great tips. Thank you
Hi! Is the double duty (photo + video) the ONLY reason to use DSLRs vs. I high quality camcorder when shooting RE video's?
Thanks Brandon I'm going to be working on my first real estate video pretty soon here.
So now the question i have in mind is: « what do you prefer to shoot real estate ? Komodo or C70 ? »
Thx for your answer ;-)
Excellent videos. I like your information, skills and bits of humor. Well done!

Hey Brandon how long should real estate videos be?
Awesome video.
Hi Brando, I bought your course. Really great!
Did I miss how to fix the reflection in the mirror or the gimbal in the frame?
David El-holandés A polarized filter should help with reflections on Windows, not sure how you "fix" a mirror reflection.
@@GettingNegative yeah...you fix it by staying out of the mirrors.

Great job man.
Yo bro is it better to edit on laptop or desktop.
Mr Ten Bands That depends on processing power, which is more affordable in a desktop.

You have to add more light. A 300 watt constant bicolor light would be a perfect companion.
