I’m honestly kind of at a lost for words with how good this looks. The massive improvement in lighting, camera angles, movement and fluidity comes together incredibly well. All of it looks like it comes from a new gen game, obviously not a ps5 game or anything but it comes close as humanly possible. Honestly at this point, I’d love to see you do literally any fight at this point because you’re talent has only improved on this and you could animate for nearly anything at this point. I CANT imagine the amount of time that went into this because it shows like every shot was perfectly crafted into something straight from your vision

Thank you for always commenting on the hard work that goes into these. Those are the comments I appreciate the most. Something I realized about how I go into my action sequences, is that I want each of my animations and stories to reach their full potential. In this one, I really feel like I checked basically Every box someone would of on a "Wish List" for this match up. I'm usually most proud of the short stories I come up with. I feel like those don't always get their due credit. I'll say a couple of things, because I haven't been super vocal about this one. Guess what.. start to finish, this whole thing, took just one month! That's right. One month flat! It wasn't super time consuming, and it didn't take a permanent toll on my mental health like Black Widow vs Catwoman did. You know what's funny. This originally started as a new chapter in black widow vs Catwoman, I was thinking of doing a fight between them in a museum. I played around with it, and eventually settled on Black Cat vs Catwoman instead. I agree, I think this one looked pretty cinematic, but I'm confident the next one will look even better. I give all the credit to Blender, again it's an amazing free software that makes all this possible. So many people come to me with their ideas and scripts, and storyboards, but I'm really encouraging you guys to get started. There have never been more tools and resources, and it's never been easier. Anyway, I'll get off my soapbox. Next up is Lara Croft in a jungle catfight. Feels very fitting for the character. It’s really great to be able to speak one on one with a creator about their process and everything, makes me appreciate it more. I can tell from the flow of the fight! Everything flowed together really nicely! It was really different from the Selina va Natasha fight seeing as it was just a quick encounter fight that ended a lot quicker. It fits really well seeing as how they’re both thieves working in stealth trying to get out of a situation quickly. It’s perfectly encapsulated in the way that Black Cat just has to finish the fight through a leg choke rather than a straightforward blow. I think you were right in your decision in the end. As much as I like Felícita and Selina up against one another, they’re fight would be a lot more straightforward and a lot more of the climactic and visceral stuff makes more sense with Natasha as an opponent. She’s the ultimate counter for an opponent like Selina or Felicia seeing how she fits the same archetype but in a completely different manner. Definitely excited for the Laura Croft fight, who will she be facing?
This is fantastic. One can see an improvement in every aspect compared to your prior video. The movements seem smoother, the choreography is more dynamic and eclectic. The cinematography is also improved with the use of inventive angles throughout which makes it more exciting. And needless to say I love the fact that there is a decisive winner. ;) Only gripe is that now I'm even more sad that Nat vs Selina part two won't happen, but whatever your plans are keep up the good work.

This is what should be called a cinamatic masterpiece! Everything was perfect from start of the fight to their outfits getting damaged and hair changed to the Black Cat mask removed and her wrath which lead to destroying Catwoman. Only small thing I would add is that Catwoman should step on and crush Black Cat mask to the small pieces when it was on the ground so she could have an actual reason to furiously finish Catwoman like she did in your video 😂 But that's just my imagination and this is really one of the best (or maybe the best) DC vs Marvel animation I have seen so far! Can't even imagine what will be your next project!

@@monstermash1571 I recently tried doing something in Blender and I had problems with simple pose in static image so I think I need to learn a lot. About problem with RUclips compression I heard it always have problems with dark recordings. I once saw somebody uploaded video on Google Drive or any other cloud drive and set them to public so anyone with link could download it. This may be a workaroud to compression problem with this video

Hey, just to let you know I saw your post on DA that you got new Felicia model from SM2. I hope you will cook something good with her as her screen time in SM2 was unacceptable 😢 I tried to use that model in Blender myself but I don't know how to do anything more than importing 😂
What's up dude, I appreciate the comment! Well if you've downloaded Blender, you've done the hardest part. The Rigging System is a total nightmare on that model, first off delete it, so you're left with just the Mesh, from there, I'd suggest exporting the Simple, OBJ Model into Mixamo or Actor Core download some motion capture and get started! I'm open to Cooking a bit more with these two. I'll scope out what the people want after my next project releases in a few weeks! ;)

A brilliant fight with 2 characters that I love. However, I'm personally disappointed that Catwoman didn't win, since I personally prefer her as a character and I thought she would have a slight edge, due to her more hardened personality.

Catwoman has bested better combat fighters than black cat. Probability can’t always push her over. Catwoman would never crawl into a submission like that. It was very amateur.
thats not a deciding factor since black cat is way stronger and faster she can rip steel doors open with 1 hand and contend with spiderman and sometimes beat him and spiderman picks up cars and trucks like nothing
Recently subscribed and just tryna catch up on all the past awesomeness, before I go into my review I do want o ask about the motion capture do you happen to have a MO-CAP suite or all was from mixamo? whichever one will be cool maybe sometimes for some BTS . I love 3d but never could achieve it, fell in love with sprite animation and try my best to make wonders in that format, However despite of the on par choreography, Last the other film I appreciate the matureness in the film with the close on sex appeals but still keeping the focus point of film. Times are aging. things don't always have to be so PG thankfully we end up getting shows like " THEY BOYS"

just watched it. It's insane how much is not visible while watching on youtube. First thing I noticed are Black Cat nipples in the second part of the video 😂 I don't know if that was intentional but they appeared when part of her chest armor disappeared. But I also noticed one "mistake?". When Catwoman breaks Black Cat mask it's broken on her left side both above and below an eye but when the mask it's kicked out of her face is broken only on the right side and only on the top. Sorry about noticing than but I was trying to find out all the details youtube compression removed 😂
@@blackcatismywaifu Hey Dude!! Yeah, the nips getting hard was something I was nervous about doing, initially, but it makes it so much sexier. I'm also surprsied, literally 230 Comments, and 60,000 views, and you're the first person to mention it. They are pretty prominent at 3:45, you can see they are poking right out of her armor. Also if you pause at 1:43 just before she ducks, they are popping out!! I wish I nailed the jiggle physics more. Definitley something I need to work on moving forwad. It's always funny to me when people point out mistakes and continuity errors, for every one that is pointed out, I can name 100 more. I think I might of designed it that way, so it was clearly still her mask, but you're right, I sacrificed a little continuity there. Oh well. The better Animation looks, the more people nitpick these things. The curvature of expectations is ridiculous. Its true though, right? Doesn't it look a million times better in its full quality? From now on, I'll animate in lighter settings, because how much quality was lost is quite disgraceful. Glad you were able to watch it the way it was meant to be seen. And about that mask mistake - don't worry! It's unnoticeable when watching. I found it only because I was pausing video from time to time. But like I said in one of my first comments after you uploaded video Black Cat's and Catwoman's masks look like they could break so easily when stepped on them so if I may leave you a suggestion just destroy them to pieces and don't worry about remembering where on left or right they should be broken haha

Hmmm. Yeah thats qutie frustrating to hear. Obviously, I wanted to do this scene at night, because it fit the story and the setting, but god RUclips really nerfs the quality. Its such a shame. I put up a poll on Discord for what animation people wanted to see next and this match up got the most votes, surprisingly. People seem to really love Catwoman from the Arkham Series. I was apprehensive at first, but I decided to take a stab at it. Will this have more popularity and interest? Well, we'll see. If I really wanted views, I could put this shit on Reddit, and it would probably do well, but I've steered clear from doing that. @MonsterMash, I like ypur catfights! I have two ideas for subsequent female fights) They should be at least 15 minutes long, maybe even 20. Fights should be sexy, without guns actually. Fighting with weapons doesn't feel sexy. There should be more chokes, strangleholds, headscissors, etc and blood. The place of fights can be at your discretion: in an apartment, in a space ship, on a wild beach, in a cave (if we are talking about Lara Croft). Of course, it is better for the girls to be alone, so that no one is there and does not interfere with the fight. The conclusion should be fatal in the form of a strangle (no ropes, pillows) for one of the girls, then the end of the fight will be logical and sexy) There is also another idea: a fight of girls in a bathing suit and in different places, without people, also with suffocating and fatal outcome in the form of a suffocating one at the end for one) Please like it, so MonsterMash can see it!
Hey there Dude, I appreciate the passion in this comment. I'll say a couple of things.... 15 Minute Catfights are out of the question, unfortunately. That's thousands of hours of work and I've done a 15-minute short film before...when checking the analytics, the average watch duration for that is...17.0%...equating to 2 and a half minutes. Really think about that. Additionally, I agree, hand to hand action is where it's at, and easily the focus of all my stories. Having said that, I am branching out a little bit. Primarily all my stuff is hand to hand, but sometimes, I think a build-up to get there is equally valuable. Speaking of which! I am doing a Wet Suit Lara Croft Catfight on a Yacht. I totally get your pitch, but I also want to be true to the nature of the characters, and for some reason, that's important to me. Best, and I hope you're subscribed! It truly amazes me how much people fight over a shiny rock, seriously, humans are weird indeed. But it was a pretty neat fight with great animation, can easily see this being a cutscene in a game, or even an animated movie. Would have been funnier if Spider-Man came in at the very end to stop both of them from stealing, that would have made this the best.

Only small thing I would add is that Catwoman should step on and crush Black Cat mask to the small pieces when it was on the ground so she could have an actual reason to furiously finish Catwoman like she did in your video 😂 But that's just my imagination and this is really one of the best (or maybe the best) DC vs Marvel animation I have seen so far! Can't even imagine what will be your next project!

@@monstermash1571 I recently tried doing something in Blender and I had problems with simple pose in static image so I think I need to learn a lot. About problem with RUclips compression I heard it always have problems with dark recordings. I once saw somebody uploaded video on Google Drive or any other cloud drive and set them to public so anyone with link could download it. This may be a workaroud to compression problem with this video

Hey, just to let you know I saw your post on DA that you got new Felicia model from SM2. I hope you will cook something good with her as her screen time in SM2 was unacceptable 😢 I tried to use that model in Blender myself but I don't know how to do anything more than importing 😂
What's up dude, I appreciate the comment! Well if you've downloaded Blender, you've done the hardest part. The Rigging System is a total nightmare on that model, first off delete it, so you're left with just the Mesh, from there, I'd suggest exporting the Simple, OBJ Model into Mixamo or Actor Core download some motion capture and get started!
I'm open to Cooking a bit more with these two. I'll scope out what the people want after my next project releases in a few weeks! ;)

Recently subscribed and just tryna catch up on all the past awesomeness, before I go into my review I do want o ask about the motion capture do you happen to have a MO-CAP suite or all was from mixamo? whichever one will be cool maybe sometimes for some BTS . I love 3d but never could achieve it, fell in love with sprite animation and try my best to make wonders in that format, However despite of the on par choreography, Last the other film I appreciate the matureness in the film with the close on sex appeals but still keeping the focus point of film. Times are aging. things don't always have to be so PG thankfully we end up getting shows like " THEY BOYS"

My products aren't perfect but, you can't point to anything that resembles them.... Lara versus Cassie is pretty excellent, Samus vs Widowmaker is great, Chun Li and Mai is very near to my heart, but the rest kind of suck.
And I'm glad you brought up The Boys, I adore a show that pushes the batteries that far and, and it's the goal post gets moved further back, I think it's up to artists to find balance, and swing the pendulum back around.

just watched it. It's insane how much is not visible while watching on youtube. First thing I noticed are Black Cat nipples in the second part of the video 😂 I don't know if that was intentional but they appeared when part of her chest armor disappeared. But I also noticed one "mistake?". When Catwoman breaks Black Cat mask it's broken on her left side both above and below an eye but when the mask it's kicked out of her face is broken only on the right side and only on the top. Sorry about noticing than but I was trying to find out all the details youtube compression removed 😂

I'm also surprsied, literally 230 Comments, and 60,000 views, and you're the first person to mention it. They are pretty prominent at 3:45, you can see they are poking right out of her armor. Also if you pause at 1:43 just before she ducks, they are popping out!!

It's always funny to me when people point out mistakes and continuity errors, for every one that is pointed out, I can name 100 more. I think I might of designed it that way, so it was clearly still her mask, but you're right, I sacrificed a little continuity there. Oh well. The better Animation looks, the more people nitpick these things. The curvature of expectations is ridiculous.

And about that mask mistake - don't worry! It's unnoticeable when watching. I found it only because I was pausing video from time to time. But like I said in one of my first comments after you uploaded video Black Cat's and Catwoman's masks look like they could break so easily when stepped on them so if I may leave you a suggestion just destroy them to pieces and don't worry about remembering where on left or right they should be broken haha

@@paulleger712 Whats up Paul, its nice hearing from you again. Well to be honest, the bar was pretty low for Black Widow vs Catwoman ( Chapter 2). So in my eyes, it was only up from there.
I put up a poll on Discord for what animation people wanted to see next and this match up got the most votes, surprisingly. People seem to really love Catwoman from the Arkham Series. I was apprehensive at first, but I decided to take a stab at it.
Will this have more popularity and interest? Well, we'll see. If I really wanted views, I could put this shit on Reddit, and it would probably do well, but I've steered clear from doing that. To be honest, I'm still growing as an artist and as a brand, so I'm figuring out where I fit into all this.

They should be at least 15 minutes long, maybe even 20. Fights should be sexy, without guns actually. Fighting with weapons doesn't feel sexy. There should be more chokes, strangleholds, headscissors, etc and blood. The place of fights can be at your discretion: in an apartment, in a space ship, on a wild beach, in a cave (if we are talking about Lara Croft). Of course, it is better for the girls to be alone, so that no one is there and does not interfere with the fight. The conclusion should be fatal in the form of a strangle (no ropes, pillows) for one of the girls, then the end of the fight will be logical and sexy)
There is also another idea: a fight of girls in a bathing suit and in different places, without people, also with suffocating and fatal outcome in the form of a suffocating one at the end for one)

Hey there Dude, I appreciate the passion in this comment. I'll say a couple of things.... 15 Minute Catfights are out of the question, unfortunately. That's thousands of hours of work and I've done a 15-minute short film before...when checking the analytics, the average watch duration for that is...17.0%...equating to 2 and a half minutes. Really think about that.
Additionally, I agree, hand to hand action is where it's at, and easily the focus of all my stories. Having said that, I am branching out a little bit. Primarily all my stuff is hand to hand, but sometimes, I think a build-up to get there is equally valuable.
Speaking of which! I am doing a Wet Suit Lara Croft Catfight on a Yacht. I totally get your pitch, but I also want to be true to the nature of the characters, and for some reason, that's important to me. Best, and I hope you're subscribed!

It truly amazes me how much people fight over a shiny rock, seriously, humans are weird indeed. But it was a pretty neat fight with great animation, can easily see this being a cutscene in a game, or even an animated movie. Would have been funnier if Spider-Man came in at the very end to stop both of them from stealing, that would have made this the best.
