In what sense the questioning was moving in circles. Didn’t he mention that he went in search of the mother with the little information he had available to him, what more did you expect. The lad was being stupid keeping to the programs script which at times makes fools of the participants

One must stop being dependent on these episodes being uploaded... last week I looked 8 - 9 times between Thursday and Saturday to no avail. Admin really can make one feel like a drug addict desperate for a fix.
Lmao andazi nam guys... maybe a support group-nyana where we can get to share our frustrations each week on Fridays if Admin has not uploaded by 12 midday. We can start by saying: "Hi my name is Siba.... I'm a Khumbulekhaya watcher." Not viewer... watcher!!!!🤣
I wonder who this sangoma is that keeps telling people, abangakhokelwanga ngisho i cent ukuthi badinga amasiko akobaba wabo kuzolunga. My nephew did that his life is upside down and now fixing it is a mission. Maybe I am being insensitive kodwa I don't understand seeking my father who never bothered about me at all.
I also don't get it. My father is alive he knows I'm married where I leave. Basically he knows everything about me but he doesn't bother himself about me. So why should I bother myself go look for him
Honestly I struggle to understand why people always give this similar excuse that when they went back to look for their children the family had moved or they jus couldn't remember how to get to that particular place or they had no money for transport for more than 20yrs, like really ? how is that even possible ??
Places change all the time. Especially if the last time a person went to that place was during Apartheid. Right up until the mid to late 90s into the early 2000s it was easy to lose contact with people as few people had cellphones back then. Also what a place looked like in 1994 is very different from it looks like today.
@@siyanxumalo4230 I'm one of those kids myself. I was born in 94. Besides it's common knowledge that during Apartheid all this technology we have today was not there. People fail to contextualise the situation. They tend to look at situations like this and forget the history of the time it all happened. Just the fact that everything occured before 2002 is an indicator of the fact that it was a very different time.

A lot of our people don't know their rights. Also this all happened in the 80s during Apartheid. It was easy for people to do things like this back then.
That woman doesn't appear to be maternal at all. She didn't even hug and comfort her child immediately. Somebody else did that, ene she did it much later showing no emotions
@@tselengbotlhole750 Also remember that at that moment she and the daughter had no emotional connection and she was also probably social distancing we're in the middle of a pandemic mos. She probably didn't know whether she could touch her or not. Some people don't like being touched in general and moreso when they're crying. There are many reasons why she didn't hug her immediately. Also not being maternal is also a reason. Not every woman who is a mother is maternal. It's not necessarily a bad thing either. It's just a thing. You can love your kids and not be a maternal person. Also not everyone is an emotional person. That doesn't mean she didn't care.
@@perfectlyimperfect1095 nah!! I am not buying the social distancing theory. She displayed no emotions of warmth to the daughter. The aunt is the one who was overwhelmed with emotion. She probably left the daughter deliberately with the father's family.
@@tselengbotlhole750 Like I also said not everyone who has kids is maternal. Also not everyone displays emotion. These aren't necessarily bad things. People are just different. I don't think she purposefully left the child with her father. It also doesn't make sense that this lady's paternal grandmother doesn't know her mother's surname. I feel like that grandmother also contributed to the situation. Let's not scapegoat this mother. She isn't the only person who made mistakes. All the adults made horrible decisions. Also I don't know if you noticed but the lady's name was originally Nomthandazo but she goes by Mathapelo now. It means that her paternal grandmother changed her name. If that paternal grandmother did indeed take all that child's particulars it actually makes sense why she tried to have a new birth certificate done for that child. I think she was trying to change the child's name officially by having new birth certificate done. People do it all the time. She probably didn't like the name Nomthandazo and preferred the Sesotho version of the name. If all this is true then it means she ended up making life very difficult for her granddaughter.
