What about me, I use a guitar processor Mooer GE150, Reaper and laptop with speakers, for me more convenient than amplifier. Advice U to find some reviews on RUclips😉
i like the guitar but the top knob placement is the worst it feels like its gonna get in the way of your right hand all the time, and btw that noise when using the switch selector is a bit of a concern as well

Hey mate🤙 So, I would say there is not so much difference between them, except of fixed bridge on Ibanez and tremolo bridge on Jackson🤔 Pickups are stock on both guitars. If you have an opportunity to try them - it's up to you😁

I copied and paste my recently answer below about amp ;) So, nowadays a lot of guitarists use plugings (Bias FX, Guitar Rig, etc.), this is the cheapest way, you need only an external audio interface (Focusrite, etc.) and PC/laptop (for this review I used the same way). What about AMP, recently I bought Boss Katana Mini (7 watt) - and it's crazy awesome and cheap AMP for home practice. Also you can check Vox Pathfinder or Marshall MG, they are around ~100$.

Totally the same instrument! (neck, body, wood, bridge, etc.). BUT, 131 model has different pickups (Infinity R) and as I know only one color variation (black body & red decor). IMHO, there is no big difference between 121 & 131🤔
Hi I have trouble on tune this quitar, I have autotuner Ibanez PU3 BK and he’s showing everthing is alright. But I think strings don’t sound correct, the strings doesnt sound like on other quitar.

Hey, mate. Strange, try to adjust the anker or try to tune your guitar by ears with notes sounds, but I guess the cause in anker.

There is a small problem with change into active pickups - you need to make a section for a battery, cause active pickups need more power. So, only passive pickups 100% suitable for this guitar, but of course you can find some good guitar fixing shop maybe they will try, but I don't think it's worth to do🤔

For the first guitar it's more than awesome😉 Pickups are quite nice (I use guitar processor MOOER GE150), so they sound good for me. If you're going to buy it as your first guitar, just pay attention on practicing, and later at any time you can change the guitar to more expensive🤔🤙
@ I have GRG121DX-WNF. Fantastic guitar for the money. Of course I've changed the tuners, pickups, nut & electronics. which probabably doubled the price... Now IDGAF it's GIO ;-) It's mine and I challenge every stock modern RG series Ibanez to compete.

More than ;) Thanx to the fixed bridge U can drop your tuning whatever you want, plus very cosy fingerboard for riffs and shred.

how's the bending on it?
No tremolo?
This one does not have that, from what I have heard guitars at this price point that have tremolos dont hold tuning well at all.

Did you remove the GIO from the headstock? If so how did you do it?
Just painted it black with a marker, but later it corroded the "Gio" letters and I just removed them with a napkin😁
