17:00: Playing a second book makes no sense to me. Maybe that mana could have been better used to play a 2nd CoP Red or a Disenchant or to represent a Counterspell.
Ah right you are Morten. I should at least make a short video with pictures from the trip and some commentary! Sadly I didn’t bring a camera to record my games but I do have a bunch of pictures.
Guild house discord? Is that an OS place I’m not aware of? Perhaps I should look into this whole discord thing! Being all the way over in Europe I have heard some faint rumblings about a conflict between OS groups on Facebook or something. I am curious about the format though so we shall see what it’s about. Haha yeah and I do remember the cop:red incident - but what was explained to me was that the guy made a different deck picture after the tourney than what he played with- because he wanted to show what he thought was the more optimal build of his the “deck 3.0”. I believed that as I’ve seen other people make that choice as well but ofc I don’t know the details. In my experience tournaments in OS are much more loosey goosey with little financial incentives to cheat and huge push back if you do. And I like that because it would hold people back from doing it deliberately- even those few people who have a skewed moral compass. For Weismann to cheat with an official deck picture would be mind boggling to me. So I think that it was a mistake and not a deliberate ploy - because that ploy would had been deranged to me. I don’t know any of the details about the 4 horsemen controversy- but for me this hobby is a reprieve so I’m more focused on the game and the international camaraderie through our mutual passion for this old, brilliant game. And so far all OS people I’ve ever encountered have been great and friendly people - I’ve so far never had beef with anyone over old school :)
@@RaVNeFLoK I only read about it in passing, but mostly it's about the money being solicited for charity and that there was some vagueness where that money went.
Ah he did have 4 plateau and 3 cobs 3 volcs, 2 skrubs and the moxen and Lotus. But yeah very sparse- these kind of decks are balancing the mana base quite tightly because mana flooding could easily happen with such a low curve.
I think you have to mulligan, if you have no factory either. If you draw no mana in a couple of turns you are just dead. But that is the price you have to pay.
Not important, but what really sucks: I can‘t see the life on a D20. And the players should just tap their stuff right. It’s just routine. Especially if you are training for a tournament. But that is just my opinion.
Yeah I saw that later on. I can’t find my extra big dice lately so I only have 6 of them- I’ll rectify as soon as I find them. In general I like 6 sided dice way better than D20. It’s a hassle to find the number you want on a d20 as well. But Ill ask people to use d6 as much as possible for ease of viewing.
I appreciate the Starcraft background music.
Once again loving the c&c music. Combining two things i love. 👍🏻
♥️♥️
A lesson I learned personally as well: never sell your cards!!!
So true. I’ve only ever regretted sold OS cards and been grateful for bought cards lol
But sometimes you gotta sell. ;(
Or give away all your power and dual lands
17:25: There is a Disenchant on the Sol Ring. Crucial Play. ;-)
Haha yeah I meant the cop:red 😂 don’t know what happened.

I agree - could also had been better even just to draw at opponents end step instead of playing book 2.
Whoosh
I really enjoy this video. That Lion-Atog deck looks super fun to play! By chance do you remember how the sideboard looks like?
Yeah he didn’t post his sb. I’ll ask Jens Ole what it is currently :-)

Hey Anders. Will we get a tourney report from your Tier1 win? Your fans are hungry to hear of your exploits and triumphs... 🙂

Four Horsemen. Wow. There was quite a bit of controversy around that in the guild house discord. And Brian '2 cop red' Weissman to boot!

@@BareMetalProgramming gotcha. I’m in a meeting tonight but will check it out afterwards.
Ok, game 4 shows what could and should happen, if you play without red or white mana in a red-white deck. ;-)

@@HarmonicSliver yea I agree. I wouldn’t keep that hand either - too risky.
Like the music but not as background music, I prefer no music at all
