Thank You, Quest. Videos like this show people what Drew the man, is made up of. My Dad would say he's being honorable, because doing the right thing is the right thing to do.

What a gorgeous home. Absolutely amazing. Seem so rare anymore 🙂Loved the yellow and white paint in the one room of the home. That shade of yellow has a beautiful tone to it. Almost pastel in color❤️👍

I earned a new respect for Drew when he decoded not to buy the plastering tools. I'm sure the lady didn't realize that the cornices etc, in her house were made with these tools.

Tools belong to the house. Just get rid of them and you’ll just find out you need them, for whatever reason…

The concrete pestle is a crazy purchase. Who would ever buy it?!
Glad he turned down the cornise mouldings, I was getting ready to shout at my screen

Yes agreed, not sure why he suggested they're decorative items - they aren't particularly interesting

@@GTIClubsport they would have been used to rebuild the house. to architects it's a nice glimpse into the past.

I think I'd buy and use in industrial style kitchen as a pestle or even a business working kitchen?????...I kinda liked it....😆😊

It’s a mortar, by the way. The pestle is the other thing.

In the bottom of the garden what's never maintained off the land bass now is an Old War tunnel and used to lead to the house but it's been blocked off

To an American these stately homes filled with such beautiful objects are almost hard to believe. I would place a lovely plant in that cement pestle.

No, Drew. You didn’t find the pestle. You found the MORTAR. Good god, man - call yourself an antiquarian?!

When you think that over 5000 of such estates have been demolished over the years !

looked like someone turned it in to a planter for the garden or a bird bath of sorts.

Only if wishing I was looking at this from Wales counts? The historical architecture is truly amazing but nothing quite like the people of Wales. The people of Wales are so cordial/friendly as well as polite!
