Question Capt Kate. Does wind affect why you would dock bow or stern first. I know I worked on a river boat on the Great Lakes and on high wind days we would dock bow first (Starboard side).

Im assuming you practice some of these maneuvers on a simulator before trying it on a $2B ship……how accurate is that experience?
