Sold Layton and got 2 bottles now of Exclusif. A 2018 batch and a 23 batch. Layton to me is just a safe designer type scent. Exclusif is a masterpiece. Younger guys won't get it though, you need to have smelled a ton of fragrances and lived with many before you will appreciate how great this is.
I understand people opinion on PDM. But Layton is just simply AMAZING 🔥. EVERYONE WHOS SMELLED IT ON ME LOVED IT. Sorry folks it will be rare you will come across someone out in the wild smelling like PDM 🤷🏾♂️. So wear your PDM with pride. People barely even wear fragrances. Also Carlisle and Layton will always stay in my collection. I wore Layton out one night. Got three compliments from women in less than a hr.
I bought LE last month for the winter. I also have smelled Layton and LE side by side. With stronger projection and darker accords LE gives regular Layton a higher quality boost and my 4.2 oz will last for years. Just like how Pegasus and PE are for different tastes Layton is a more mild fragrance while LE is meant to penetrate in the colder weather.

I may be in super minority - I love them both. I love Layton as my day leisure scent and exclusif for evening going out scent. Definitely Fall/Winter/Early Spring scent. As to PDM I do not care what people think I like the house. I am also probably in a minority but I like Perseus as a summer scent - while not groundbreaking I like the development and the longevity and projection. Great video btw.
layton exclusif to me is the stepping stone for Hamid Merati-Kashani to end up making king blue later on. A fresh fruity quality mingling with a lot of oud and dark woods. Seldomly Often's comparison video felt really apt because of that

I like peg exc, layton exc, and carisle , i dont get menthal , i get vanilla and christmas vibe , I love oud though

For me layton exclusif together with pegasus exclusif is not my style. The gasoline smell on both is offputting
Layton Exclusif smells like Layton with a freshly burnt down forest. Not my jam.
