To my knowledge, POTS stands for Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. (As opposed to Post Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome.)

I have been diagnosed with POTS and I have only ever heard that it stands for Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome.

I’ve had it for 15 years and that’s exactly what it stands for Postural referring to standing up 🤷‍♀️

Thank you for making a video about PoTS! I just wanted to say that according to the NHS website, orthostatic heart rate only needs to stay elevated for 30 seconds, not a full 10 minutes: "PoTS is diagnosed if your heart rate increases by 30 beats a minute (bpm) or more (40bpm in those aged 12 to 19) usually within 10 minutes of standing. This increase continues for more than 30 seconds and is accompanied by other symptoms of PoTS." It would be nice to hear more about your experience with PoTS if you feel like sharing ;-)

Thanks so much for sharing this I was diagnosed in January after being sick for 12 years. I couldn't find a whole lot of information on the types and this video helped a lot. I've shared my journey on my channel if you want to check it out.

Can the symptoms of the different types of POTS overlap with each other?
