So here we go again, a re set and re think, follow how we get on training the pups, the older dogs and the rehomed dogs.
Collies Collies everywhere but can we make a sheepdog out of one of them?
In this first video we look at one of the most important elements of sheepdog training... the sheep.
In this series on Training My Sheepdog, I show how I train my own Border Collie Menna from start to finish with my own rare breed sheep.
It will involve mistakes and how to solve them as we take this journey together.

and 'How To' Explanation Training Videos which will expand from 'Beginners' to 'Expert' in knowledge and skills set.
As a Dog Trainer of many years standing, mainly in the world of Protection and Security Dogs and their handlers, I have always wanted to train my own sheepdog for the purpose they were bred for, I have owned and trained many but for pets and search/ detection work.

Great video !! I have been watching your videos since the beginning with Menna and yes it’s a difficult journey !!
I have been lucky enough to get advice and a fair few bollickings from some of the best Handlers !! The one thing that they have in common is to always remind us that they have acquired the knowledge they have by making the same mistakes that we are making !!!
