I can scarcely remembered the last time I was so moved by a piece of music. The eerie melody.. The soft harmony... They create such an enigma in my heart that perfectly mimics the wandering thoughts in the dead of night. It's absolutely beautiful and thought-provoking.
Stunning, moving, soulful and so remarkably inspiring, intense and spiritual, I want to be this music and feel that way, but what do I mean? Only those that feel it will know??

"Lamentate" The sadness. My immortal beloved. My pulse, my heart beating slow. The world at it's end. Timeless, great.
Arvo's music touches deep places in the person, calming a restless spirit in my case.

To hear his angels sing is to be renewed. He does not think or feel in a separating sense, he has theeling. Always close, ever fleeting.
This has a sort of Arabian feel to it when the clarinets play their part, its simply amazing how he implements that style in this piece

I was at his Symphony 3 premiere. It was so uplifting, and ethereal. the music was like seeing a subtle giant punching into fog.
This music is next on my list of "must have hard-copy", it's great, thank you for such a beautiful piece...
