CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP

- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 medium white onion, chopped
2 tablespoons salted butter
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 cups water
2 cups fresh milk
1 cup heavy (or all-purpose) cream
1-2 cans mushrooms

I tried it this morning its very delicious, instead of flour I use ground flaxseed to make it thicker and healtheir. Fresh shitake mushroom promotes the aroma.
