Kindly make a video on how to calculate stablizing resistance value of motor feeder if motor data sheet values known . What parameters we consider for calculating rstab . Explain through example
In Motor control centre if one outgoing motor feeder tripped on earth fault protection and in this feeder there is no earth leackage relay only OLR there . Then in that case whether incomer of mcc tripped or not ?
One feeder in MCC tripped on earth fault..... but in this feeder not used any Earth Fault relay.. How it's tripped.....(1.) Tripped possible on phase over current if mv>sv with time set. (2.) Your question is 'Main incomer will be tripped or not'. Main incomer using the E/F or not...... if yes than it will tripped on preset value. If not using or not enable the E/F in your incomer feeder, than it will sence throw phase overcurrent, if fault current magnitude is greater than your set limit it will be trip, other wise fault current be circulate. (3.) If you used phase current unbalance protection...... that will be activated. (4.)
Very good lecture Sir. Thanks 🙏🙏🙏🙏

t= 172 or 129
as per IEC Standard inverse curve
Thank You for watching video so patiently...you are absolutely right.

Thank you for your comment. My next video will be on Calculation of Stabilizing Resistance for Motor Earth Fault protection

Sir, What is the tripping time of LV side breaker? So in second case, fault at F2, F2 breaker seems to trip first. Kindly explain
