Rocco, you're confusing "love" with "good". You can like bad things; just because you like it doesn't mean you think it's good. You like it for reasons that aren't its quality.
+megamurg Rocco obviously needs to find the figures that have been placed on the microphones and save us from audio hell. Rocco, the hero all audiophiles need.
Rocco just needed to say "it's so bad it's good, that's why I like it" but no, the way he phrased it makes him sound like a crazy person and hurts my brain.
I guess he just doesn't want to admit it's good in any regard. Example of "so bad it's good" I can think about now is Far Cry Blood Dragon. They overdid their 80s vibe and breaking the 4th wall to the point where it was crigeworthy. But it's all so bad it's good. And only example of "it's shit but I enjoyed it" comes from Russian/Ukranian games I played, like The Tomorrow War. It's a shit game that makes you sit for dozens of minutes before something happens, but I enjoyed it when I played years ago when I could still bear through it.
This might have already been said, but I didn't watch the entire Friendimension, but what may make future LP's more interesting to watch would be if not all of you guys were playing a game at the same time, like taking turns so some of you can be having conversations and commentating instead of all of you having to pay attention to the game and trying to win or whatever otherwise sad day
Like the feeling from putting yourself in the position of disliking something by watching it is rewarding in and of itself. That's what made the experience so good. Makes no sense because it's not supposed to.
Me: "Rocco, what are you watching?" Rocco: "Fuller House" Me: "Oh cool, is it good?" Rocco: "Nah. I just like having it on. It's not that good, to be honest." That makes sense.
What Rocco was saying about fuller house made sense. I guess they've never hate played/watched a game/anime before. It's like watching and enjoying bad movies.
+ZomBIEKAI4 Rocco was denying that he liked it. Which makes no sense because you can like something that's bad. How do you enjoy watching something that you don't like? that's an oxymoron!
+ZomBIEKAI4 It was the wording that Rocco was using that made it confusing, if he had just said "I enjoyed watching it but not for the reason others are enjoying watching it" it would have made more sense. I can enjoy watching Troll 2, but not for the reasons the creators intended.
+faris b phantominfernox put said it well, you can have fun watching something, enjoying how bad it is. Also you can just turn your brain off and just watch it without delving into how bad it is.
The only problem with FrienDeminsion was the game, next time you should play a game you guys are more familiar with so there's more banter and less boring talk about the game.
I'm actually really happy you guys are diaz fans. I was rooting for him with a lot of people going for Conor. God it felt awful, but he ended up winning. Awesome night too. I'm from Santee and loved you guys since 2007! Hopefully I run into you guys and catch a fight with you sometime.
I couldn't agree more with Rocco's comments on Twilight Princess, hands down my 2nd favorite Zelda game, it's loaded with dungeons, story, collectibles, good combat, puzzles, and difficulty(even more with Hero Mode/Ganon Amiibo).
I think what Rocco was trying to say is: You can love watching a bad movie BECAUSE it is bad. It doesn't have to be a good movie for you to love it. He enjoyed watching fuller house because it was bad.
I didn't understand when people said Twilight Princess started out too slowly back then, and to this day I STILL don't understand it. You get to know the people of your village, you get a feel for the tone of the game. To me, it can be less engaging to be thrown directly into conflict in the first few seconds, so you barely even know or care about what you're fighting for.
Oh god the fucking theme music, I heard the intro and thought 'Man I can't hear this song without thinking about Crocodile Chop anymore' but then, it was
Do they really not understand rocco?? is it a bit? It seems so so easy to understand that you could like watching a show/movie for the experience of watching, without liking the content within it. Have you never enjoyed a bad movie?
I get what Rocco is saying. For what Derek I arguing is how do you like the content of something without liking watching it. I can think of a few things such as a movie with a big twist at the end or a movie that is really good but it's 3 hours long and really slow. Once you watch the movie with the twist again, you might not like watching it as much, but you still enjoy the content. The 3 hour movie is probably a better example because you can enjoy the movie but you don't want to sit there for 3 hours watching a slow movie. You don't enjoy watching it but you like the plot and everything else about it.
FrienDiemsion feels like it will definitely be better the next time around. I love Shawnime so no complaints there. As for Roccos's segment figure updates obviously aren't for everyone but I do generally watch them in their entierty and I feel like the original format of crappy iphone footage of Rocco in his room just felt right. The new format feels like a step back. Didn't really enjoy web rip but as Derrick said I probably didn't give it a fair shot.
I think I shared the common opinion of Funny Factory (friend dimension). I'm looking forward to the idea, just the game in particular wasn't too exciting to watch.
wow, i used to be a huge bloodhound gang fan and you're right, i didn't hear one word about this. also not all of their songs are dumb, i seem to remember at least one song called Something Diabolical that had the dude from HIM in it that was serious, and dope af
I’m pretty sure Rocco said the same thing about Power Rangers [he said it was a bad show, and explained why he watched it] in another podcast, but I can’t remember which one. Anyone know which one?
I get it rocco. For the deadpool example it's like you enjoy watching it, but you wouldn't put it on your top 10 or whatever because it's not the kind of thing to evoke a strong emotional response or is thought provoking. Or you like watching the room because of how bad it is, but just because you enjoyed watching it doesn't mean you'd put it on a list of movies you think are good.
At first I thought they where just joking around, but then it continued and I realized Rocco wasn't articulating and the others actually didn't get it.
I don't like these audio problems, but I love listening to them.
I really didnt like this podcast, but i liked watching it.
+Lumpkins McDream I didn't really care for what they had to say, but it sounded good.
Liquid Otacon I didn't really like the sound quality but I love the voices .
+Lumpkins McDream I really agree with this comment, but I think its wrong.
Did you get the groceries?
All Rocco had to say is he hatewatches it. Or reference Red Letter Media.
I think Rocco just made the concept of a guilty pleasure sound needlessly complex
That ending made me cry.
Perfect delivery, synchronized reception.
lol that was the best.. and i swear it looks like shawn goes to sniff garret's butt as a bit right before
That ending was amazing. They way they all reacted in exact unison was priceless.
I 100% understood Rocco. IDK if they were fucking with him or not, but I honestly thought it was perfectly clear.
+JadedDarkness Yea the show sucks but you can enjoy the trainwreck in progress.
What happened to Rocco? I swear he's talking like he spent last weekend with Will I Am!
the first and last 20 seconds are the best parts of the podcast
should be phrased like this "objectively I can see this is garbage but I still enjoy it"
He doesn't enjoy it, he enjoys watching it!
2 secs in and I get a dose of signature mega64 ear rape. fuck
Rocco, you're confusing "love" with "good". You can like bad things; just because you like it doesn't mean you think it's good. You like it for reasons that aren't its quality.
that intro might be the best thing i've ever heard
Of course Derrick doesn't credit Marathon when he brings up "the only games like that in the 90's", the game that invented mouse-look shooting.
Rocco just can't admit his taste
I wonder how long until the audio isn't shit
When Shawn stops bringing out late Valentine videos
rocco on pout cam from the get go
holy fuck that ending GARRETT
Don't worry Rocco, I get it.
(I don't get it)
+orangeoblivion I get it
(I think I do)
neil cicierega x mega64 needs to happen
+badumbumpss I could die.
I can see the appeal in both.
+sageWENG Yeah, I feel like one time collabo would be at least interesting
GARRET in for the kill. Awesome podcast this week. Its always a great time, but for some reason everyone was especially great this week.
I don't understand how you can have such a sophisticated and high dollar set-up for audio but the audio quality be such shit
+megamurg Rocco obviously needs to find the figures that have been placed on the microphones and save us from audio hell. Rocco, the hero all audiophiles need.
+megamurg If they're using usb microphones, it's gonna be shit no matter what.
+megamurg There's some residual feet still on the mics.
I like watching rocco, but i I don't love rocco
I'm looking forward to Rocco's "History of Fuller House" series when the show concludes.
Rocco just needed to say "it's so bad it's good, that's why I like it" but no, the way he phrased it makes him sound like a crazy person and hurts my brain.
I guess he just doesn't want to admit it's good in any regard.

I watch the podcasts over and over while studying for an exam.
Seconds in and Rocco is pissed. This is going to be an A+ podcast.
I believe Rocco was looking for the term Guilty Pleasure.
Someone please fix the audio. It sounds like there's several playing at the same time.
I watched The Big Short recently, MAN, that's a good ass movie. Really feel it should have won best editing against Mad Max.
This was totally my favourite podcast in a while, lotta gold
This was one of my favorite podcasts in a while
amazing ending to an amazing podcast
This might have already been said, but I didn't watch the entire Friendimension, but what may make future LP's more interesting to watch would be if not all of you guys were playing a game at the same time, like taking turns so some of you can be having conversations and commentating instead of all of you having to pay attention to the game and trying to win or whatever
otherwise sad day
Like the feeling from putting yourself in the position of disliking something by watching it is rewarding in and of itself.
That's what made the experience so good.
Makes no sense because it's not supposed to.
Has any of them tried Metro 2033? Since they enjoy single-player games I'd recommend it.
Only the chosen understand the Ascended One, Rocco.
Fart 1:17:57
Me: "Rocco, what are you watching?"
Rocco: "Fuller House"
Me: "Oh cool, is it good?"
Rocco: "Nah. I just like having it on. It's not that good, to be honest."
That makes sense.
I hope Shawn's Funny Factory segment is just more Shawnime episodes.
+ZomBIEKAI4
It was the wording that Rocco was using that made it confusing, if he had just said "I enjoyed watching it but not for the reason others are enjoying watching it" it would have made more sense. I can enjoy watching Troll 2, but not for the reasons the creators intended.
+ZomBIEKAI4 That's not enjoying a bad movie, it's called having nothing better to do
I don't know why he didn't just say something like "It's not a quality show, but I enjoy it anyway". That's much less confusing.
+faris b phantominfernox put said it well, you can have fun watching something, enjoying how bad it is. Also you can just turn your brain off and just watch it without delving into how bad it is.
Garrett farting was the best part!
Has Rocco ever heard of a guilty pleasure?
Rocco always looks so fucking over it during these 'get weird' segments.
I don't like Dennys, I just like eating Dennys.
I couldn't agree more with Rocco's comments on Twilight Princess, hands down my 2nd favorite Zelda game, it's loaded with dungeons, story, collectibles, good combat, puzzles, and difficulty(even more with Hero Mode/Ganon Amiibo).
Glad I watched it the whole way through. Thank you Garret oh my god.
What is that remix of chop suey?
I think what Rocco was trying to say is: You can love watching a bad movie BECAUSE it is bad. It doesn't have to be a good movie for you to love it. He enjoyed watching fuller house because it was bad.

rocco " i hate this show but loved watching it" thanks rocco real good insight
Oh god the fucking theme music, I heard the intro and thought 'Man I can't hear this song without thinking about Crocodile Chop anymore' but then, it was
I really dont like this shitty fucking podcast
But I love watching it.
I get what rocco is saying about watching and loving shows. Does that mean i have ascended to another level?
I liked this podcast AND I enjoyed watching it. So I enjoyed it approximately twice as much as Rocco liked Fuller House.
That's a magical end at the video.
I look forward to this every week...
after the ending i guess you could say that this podcast STINKS
Do they really not understand rocco?? is it a bit? It seems so so easy to understand that you could like watching a show/movie for the experience of watching, without liking the content within it. Have you never enjoyed a bad movie?
+KyleArthur the way rocco worded it made it more confusing than it needed to be, thats probably why they didnt understand.
Pretty much how I feel about the show Cops or Judge Judy.
I've seen people down my street practicing spinwave/popspin/spincore all the time
I found the theme song this week "MASHUP: Elton John Vs System Of A Down | "Crocodile Rock" Vs "Chop Suey" (Neilcic)" type that on youtube
thank you so much holy shit. i was at my wits end lol
Its horrible that I've listened to Crocodile Chop so much I knew it was that rather than Crocodile Rock as soon as it started.
Covert Simon and Garfunkel reference 5:45
11:59 anyways he loved.. watching it. Gets me everytime
I get what Rocco is saying. For what Derek I arguing is how do you like the content of something without liking watching it. that opening killed me.
Shots out to Eric and Garrett for that DOOM love
That ending was great
bootech tribute
FrienDiemsion feels like it will definitely be better the next time around.
I love Shawnime so no complaints there.
As for Roccos's segment figure updates obviously aren't for everyone but I do generally watch them in their entierty and I feel like the original format of crappy iphone footage of Rocco in his room just felt right. The new format feels like a step back.
Didn't really enjoy web rip but as Derrick said I probably didn't give it a fair shot.
I get what Rocco's talking about, I don't like Charlie's Angels 2 but I love watching it. I don't like steaks I like dinner steaks.
Thats the best ending so far I think.
Fucking Garret
I know what Rocco's talking about. It's like watching a bad movie for how bad it is and liking it but not liking the movie itself
"I don't love pornography, I love watching pornography!" LMAO!
Rocco talking about amiibos like is a good thing, is just the worst thing Nintendo have donde they are now a toy factory to me.
the only channel were audio issues make me laugh
So bad that it's good and you can't stop watching the show? I get it Rocco. Though lookin back you would never list it among something you love.
It's called a guilty pleasure. End of fucking conversation.
I love watching The Room, but I love The Room.
Where can I find the rest of that theme song?
+godofacorns look up Crocodile Chop
I get ya Rocco, it's like The Room.
I think I shared the common opinion of Funny Factory (friend dimension). I'm looking forward to the idea, just the game in particular wasn't too exciting to watch.
Rocco understands why bad movies are good
A very fun episode.
So what do I search to find that rockabilly chop suey version?
wow, i used to be a huge bloodhound gang fan and you're right, i didn't hear one word about this.
also not all of their songs are dumb, i seem to remember at least one song called Something Diabolical that had the dude from HIM in it that was serious, and dope af
There's already a music video with a sign spinner. Its by Elbow called one day like this.
Fucking loved Twilight princess. The opening village part was pretty slow but personally i'm glad they did it that way.
Yeah we got time to get weird.
I like Twilight Princess a lot and it is better than Orcarina of time.
I guess nobody at mega64 has ever heard of camp.
I like watching mega 64 and I love watching it.
Finally, some Twilight Princess love
The Room is absolute garbage, but I love watching it. I got you Rocco.
+ErrorRick So you like it. Even though it's garbage.
+brenm15 no. he likes watching it. he doesn't actually like it
DuoDunk But what else is he going to do with a movie?
no you don't get it
NEIL CICIEREGA FOR THAT THEME SONG
AYYYYYYYY
I’m pretty sure Rocco said the same thing about Power Rangers [he said it was a bad show, and explained why he watched it] in another podcast, but I can’t remember which one. Anyone know which one?

Or you like watching the room because of how bad it is, but just because you enjoyed watching it doesn't mean you'd put it on a list of movies you think are good.
roco for president, your logic can make america great again.
Rocco means he personally finds the show entertaining, but objectively thinks the quality isn't good.
+urmanascrewed Exactly, I got what he meant but he sucked at explaining it
At first I thought they where just joking around, but then it continued and I realized Rocco wasn't articulating and the others actually didn't get it.
They got weird
UNDER THE SKIN is a masterpiece!
Best ending to the podcast. XD
