Ok so I made a pirating joke and it was too specific that RUclips thought I was linking to an actual pirated link. I really disagree with Rocco's statement. It comes off as casually biased. If you're someone who has a steady income, which I assume the M64 guys and their friends do, then yeah, streaming services giving you a hard time is easy to tolerate. But if you're
a college student with an unbalanced income, Someone struggling with rent, or just straight poor. Then the excuse to pirate becomes easier. I'm one of the only people I know who doesn't pirate. I know many and I mean *MANY* people who don't pirate in the early 2000s sense of it with p2p torrent client software, but go on websites that have torrented files play on 3rd party internet video players. Again, I disagree with Rocco here.
I had the same problem watching The Boys on Amazon. And a lot of episodes end with the music swelling at the end and into the credits, so clearly the shows wants you to sit with it for a sec even though Amazon doesn't

15:17 My grandma just moved in with us and the shows immediately flipping to the next block of content is built for people like her. When a show ends my family tends to sit and discuss what we just watched and it annoys her to no end that we're just leaving the menu open and not picking something else right away.
RUclips premium has kept me sane at my job the last couple years. It's worth it just for the offline downloads alone. Ad-free on top is just a huge plus, while also knowing I'm apparently helping my fav channels out the most.
Was always curious what the revenue split for content creators is from Premium viewers, specifically with offline downloads; does it pay per download? Do offline downloaded views get the same amount of revenue versus streamed views? It'd be nice to know if all the hundreds of hours I've listened to the Boys offline helped or not

I have a Nostradamus prediction: when the Mario movie comes out, there will be a slew of stories about how kids are eating wild mushrooms and getting sick/dying. All it will take is one kid, and then there will be a moral panic attempt from at least one major news network. They will Slenderman the Mario movie.

I have the same thing Rocco where I watched a lot of clips for some miltary show and I think I basically watched all the best moments as clips on youtube, so I feel like I've seen the show
For me it's Boardwalk Empire, suddenly I started getting served clips back to back on reels and I saw literally every significant character death. Then I Googled it and was like "oh that guy died in season 5? Well I guess I'm not watching it now"
I feel like I just watched the last one.

I cancelled my amazon prime and so far I've spend like £25 on next day deliveries that I could've just been patient and waited on the free delivery for. I think it pays for itself in free next day deliveries alone but I don't know if I really need that
I realised it wasn't worth paying for next day delivery or prime living so close to an Amazon warehouse. Every time I order something it arrives within 24 hours. Crazy. Makes me wonder how many other people could be saving some cash in my neighborhood.

On the topic of streaming. I only watch RUclips and Amazon Prime. One month of the year, I’ll subscribe to HBO Max and cut it off. I don’t understand how people can subscribe to Netflix, Disney, Hulu and watch multiple series through out the year.

The Netflix rule change is in place. None of my family members (living in different houses, of course) are able to use my account anymore.
I'm gonna use a couple weeks to learn how to pirate again so I can continue my Breaking Bad > El Camino > Better Cal Saul rewatch. And I'm unsubscribing, of course.

Literally one person with a flag of any kind in his comments with most of them either aligning with their [more left-leaning] beliefs or offering professional advice on why it's like it is. Joker thing was literally one foreign dude calling it "Massive toxicity & woke behavior" and half a dozen outlets explaining exactly what Rocco said with everyone as far as the original writer saying it's an abysmal storyline and low point for comics in general.
