Ok, so let me get this straight, cause I’ve heard about the “Apple bees-esque” dining room on this ship. Is that place you ate at for your first dinner the same place they have you eating for elegant night??! I’ve been on the paradise and they had a nice formal dining room but I’m scouting the Vista ship.

Was it difficult to get mocktails? Did you guys get a drink package or pay per drink? If you didn’t get the drink package, were the virgin drinks just as expensive as the alcoholic ones or did you get a discount?
So easy to get a mocktail! They were $7.50 around the ship! I personally loved the mocktails at Alchemy Bar, so I chose to spend my drink money there, lol! We did not get a drink package.
Hi Erin! They were great! No issues at all. We used them to get to port and return to airport. We paid for 2 adults round-trip and opted for them to pick us up from our hotel for an additional $50. (We could’ve taken our hotel’s free shuttle back to the airport and then caught the GE shuttle there, but that just seemed like more work with transferring luggage around and dealing with a toddler so it was worth the extra charge!) Plus our daughter was a free lap infant with this company; whereas, Carnival would have charged for her since she’s over 2. Carnival’s shuttle would have cost us $245.94 R/T for 3, but we paid $170 R/T (including hotel pickup) with Galveston Express. They picked us up right on time and got us to port/airport safely. We recommend them!
Thanks for the helpful video! Our first cruise is booked for June. I have a couple questions.. Are there already hangers in the closets or did you pack them? How did you pack your dress for elegant night and keep it from wrinkling?

There were definitely a few things in Carnival quality that were lacking for this ship, unfortunately - not all workers were super friendly, MDR wait times, on one elegant night the ship was soo hot too! We still had a great time though!

How did you guys like the Galveston Express shuttle, I’ve been looking at that one for our cruise coming up.
