    The ballgame is NOT exclusively Maya. Variants were played all over Mesoamerica and Mexico. The Aztecs were still playing the same form of it as the late period Maya when the Spanish showed up.

    The city of gold shown is NOT Incan. That is a Mayan style pyramid and buildings. As with the rest of the movie which is 99% mesoamerican influences.
