It cant be canon because Cell at the games would have asked why Goku went into space for a few days. Cooler's Revenge, Bojack Unbound, and Wrath of the Dragon are more compatible with canon because they exist within timeskips.
All the english dub Dragon Ball Z movies legit had the best metal soundtracks of all time. I learned about Dream Theater and Deftones from these movies and thats INSANE
I agree the rock just fit with some of the z villains worked so well, people prefer the jp score, Ya as if these movie villains were canon and that score made any sense

I don't know what the frick happened but in DBZ the Japanese osts had more variety at least, in Kai I swear once it got to the Cell Saga they took like three tracks max of the most boring music of all time and spread it thin throughout the whole dang rest of the show.

In the original dub there was a _little_ more variety but the amount was essentially the same as what you saw in Kai. Funimation went with the approach they did in Kai simply because the times were/are different. At the time the west was way more disconnected with japan than it is now. So getting the rights for an OST would have been a great hassle on it's own. But even if they got those rights the soundtrack would simply not have been worth having or using due to the lack of appeal it would have had outside of Japan. Especially for a show in the 90s and early 2000s. So outside of personal preferences even from a marketing it would have been a terrible idea to dub Z with that original soundtrack. It's good thing Funimation decided to focus on the localizaiton as much as they did back then. Because Z would not be anywhere near as big as it is today if they hadn't.

As much as I love these replacement scores, they're just not necessary anymore in today's age. There main purpose was to make the transition easier for American audiences. Keep in mind, this was during late 90s, early 2000s so not much restriction on English dubs.
Transformations lost all luster after the Cell saga, and especially in Super. I mean we got: God, Blue, Berserker, Rage, Ultra Instinct Omen, Blue Evolution, Ultra Instinct Mastered, Blue w Kaioken, Rose. And that's all in only 131 episodes. It's really sad to see.

To be fair, at the time, this Broly movie was considered like the longest of the DBZ movies once DBZ movies were usually like 45 minutes, 50 minutes or an hour. This one was like 70 minutes.
He will beat the crap out of you while absolutely wasting time. In his Legendary Form, the guy spent the entire time laughing and countering and flying aimlessly while torturing his enemies. Only person he killed was his dad, he kept the rest at death's door.
i also forgot to note that goku in ssj3 could fight kid buu, but with kid buu as in all other forms of buu, buu had ridocoulus endurance due to reforming/healing abilities, also noted that goku was not at full power when he was fighting kid buu at ssj3
Actually, that's just a side effect of cloning. Things like scars, loss of limbs, or the aforementioned missing (assumed cut-off) tail wouldn't show up in your genetics. So, if I cut off my arm, THEN cloned myself, my clone would have the arm still.
