I got fed up of my old factory, it was cluttered and Applied Energistics had taken over everything. back when Super Saiyan and LSSJ was the actually something. but now we got transformations not even gods can master. like man it all went downhill in cell saga, hell even ssj3 was ok. why did akira have to put in god forms. am i the only one that wishes this was the canon broly? atleast the transformation?
All the english dub Dragon Ball Z movies legit had the best metal soundtracks of all time. I learned about Dream Theater and Deftones from these movies and thats INSANE
I agree the rock just fit with some of the z villains worked so well, people prefer the jp score, Ya as if these movie villains were canon and that score made any sense
@@deadlyfaster7347The japanese was always so mid to me, music like this and the Bruce Faulconer ost really makes me feel the weight of every scene.
@@ShadowOfMassDestructionthe Japanese ost are literally the same ost over and over again lol they don't help to elevate the scene at all. The American version is better all the way. The only time the Japanese ost was better was when trunks cut frieza in half and even that song was plagiarised lol
@@JustAsh001 Especially in Kai man. I don't know what the frick happened but in DBZ the Japanese osts had more variety at least, in Kai I swear once it got to the Cell Saga they took like three tracks max of the most boring music of all time and spread it thin throughout the whole dang rest of the show.
@@ShadowOfMassDestruction The soundtrack in the original dub for Z was notably dated tbh which is one of the reasons Bruce Faulconer went crazy on the OST. In the original dub there was a _little_ more variety but the amount was essentially the same as what you saw in Kai. Funimation went with the approach they did in Kai simply because the times were/are different. At the time the west was way more disconnected with japan than it is now. So getting the rights for an OST would have been a great hassle on it's own. But even if they got those rights the soundtrack would simply not have been worth having or using due to the lack of appeal it would have had outside of Japan. Especially for a show in the 90s and early 2000s. So outside of personal preferences even from a marketing it would have been a terrible idea to dub Z with that original soundtrack. It's good thing Funimation decided to focus on the localizaiton as much as they did back then. Because Z would not be anywhere near as big as it is today if they hadn't.

My favorite dbz movie by far but the only thing it was really missing was a strong motive from Broly. Also btw OG Broly is way cooler than dbs Broly. Even the look.
