I was on holiday in Dawlish 1963 how well I remember the GW steam trains rushing along the track from the beach I am about to travel along this stretch of line to Plymouth in a few weeks I am as excited as I was back in 63
I didn’t get to see it coming back as we had to get back to Cornwall because if we did wait to see it come back we would arrive at Penzance very late in the night

Been here years ago but can't believe the Malard us now going it was in the railway museum when l saw it last being done up.
It’s not Mallard - it’s sir Nigel Gresley - a different train.
