Her voice is actually so soft. Much more lovely than the commercialized autotuned upbeat version. Imagine her singing this to you in person with no background music. It feels super intimate.
That’s not entirely accurate. What you’re hearing is actually layers of her voice. She doesn’t use auto tune and while she can and does sing soft at times she has an incredibly powerful voice.

Producers don’t use autotune in every song, what you’re hearing is a version with effects like echo, choirs and doubles, and that’s not autotune
A lot of producers put that effects with autotune. Its not a bad thing if her voice is beautiful, and if its only used to match the style of the song

She does not use autotune. It's juste that, a studio version, where you can sing a part ten times and select the best will always be different from a live performance.
There's definitely autotune. Despite common beliefs, autotune isn't dedicated to "make bad singers sound right", it's an effect with a field of applications. The very vast majority of modern production use it or a similar tool nowadays, with very few exceptions, for a lot of reasons. It's not "bad" to use autotune, and it doesn't mean that the singer can't sing properly at all.

And a pitch corrector, a.k.a autotune.
Simply the voice is processed then mixed with various plugins, but the pitch is not affected by the autotune

Do your research. Aurora does not use autotune. They tried to put it on runaway and she said she hated it plus, I see u have compared her singing with no band and done live to her actual music video that has been edited and practiced in a studio.
That's what they showed... Live and with all the tech and music... And it shows not much difference, that means she doesn't use it and it shows she is an actual amazing singer!

Aurora actually said in an interview that she doesn't use autotune in her studio recordings because she doesn't like the way it sounds. What you're hearing are just harmonies which are provided by backup singers that she didn't have with her in the cure for me interview.

Si lo es. La diferencia con los otros que ocupan autotune es que su voz es hermosa y sólo lo hace por el efecto (algo parecido a lo que hace Cher). Los reggaetoneros por ejemplo lo usan para arreglar voz, lo cual encuentro super malo

I just went to her concert for her Tour in Taipei ( The gods we can touch ) and she sounds very magical . Her voice and singing was just as good live as the studio one!! This video doesn’t do it enough Justice but on stage she sounds just as good and the feelings were probably better live than studio ( plus the backup singers were amazing too! They harmonize and echoed her vocals very well) I’m not music savvy but I hope you got what I meant haha 😅 Her singing skills are amazing ! The voice control and she even danced very expressively on stage too .

This should be titled acoustic vs studio or something similar(not a music genius). It is a misconception that the sound of someone’s voice in a studio is a sign of auto tune or that voice effects like layering are autotune. Autotune like it’s name suggests changes the tune of the voice not they way it is presented in the song. I recall Aurora saying something about not using autotune however she may still use voice effects to add to the song that is NOT autotune

What people aren't considering is that she is truly just singing quietly/softer in this live performance. It's not just magically different because a producer changed something. Of course that is the case too, but she is very clearly singing softly purposely in the Genius interview.
