Taehyun said in his IG live (pre-JBJ), it is written as "Roh Taehyun" in his passport so he continued using it. But in my opinion, it was a technical error and should've actually been "Noh". He also said that he has a friend that has Noh as a surname too but in their passport, it is written as "Noh" and not "Roh" unlike his.

i know this is super late but it was because Noh in hanja (Chinese character that being used in korean) being romanized it will be translated to roh ill give u another ex like lee its actually pronounced with ee in real life and some ryu actually being pronounced as yoo(like yoo ho jin 1n2d s3 pd). This is all happen because the Hanja character and its really hard to explain >
