This brings back some bitter sweet memories Me my granddad, his Egyptian friend, A rather aloof Frenchman, some dog we found, and some kid that tried to kill me, we all had to go on this trip to Egypt to talk down an old family member who made my mother sick.. But...Some of them didn't make it back..
I was on the road a lot in the 90s, I would put this song in the cassette deck and have a wonderful time driving down those long winding country roads of America, it took me to another place...I just found it on youtube and it brings back so many great memories of the places it took me...God bless you

The time has come to move on....the seasons are changing...leaving the old to embrace the new.....unfamiliar grounds awaits me......the feelings of sadness mixed with gladness moves within me....come sweet death, come.
The reasons are you like & admire trains and the scenery in areas where trains run. I travel long distance by Amtrak trains, and also when I’m home in the San Diego area, I ride the Pacific Surfliners between San Diego, Los Angeles & Oxnard,CA on visits home to the San Diego area, alternating my visits between Los Angeles & San Diego. Traveling on he Pacific Surfliners is restful,comfortable, relaxing & I don’t have to deal with the parking lots which is what the interstate highways in most urban areas are now.
