This was a good interview. I like a lot of what Peter Hitchens says, and I learned a lot about some of the life experiences he'd had in more detail than I had done elsewhere.
I know he has a book entitled, 'Short Breaks in Mordor'. I've read some of that, and from the title it's mainly about his visits to some of the poorest and dictatorial places in the world.

I'd love to know how many hours Peter Hitchens works per week. Quite incredible how often we see him on interviews, podcasts, radio shows etc, alongside his regular job, and along side all his e other media stuff, not to mention normal life.

In fairness Peter had never prioritized interviews based upon the ‘fame’ or the scope of the platform - one contacts him with a list of the questions (generally), intended to be asked of him, and the timeframe of the interview, and he’ll possibly accept.

@@edwardcatt2399, that's right, Hitchens isn't a snob, in fact he's most belligerent towards those of his own class and above, especially those who are in places of power, who he frequently scorns as being unfit for such positions.
His family history some generations prior were working class, but obviously moved up through social mobility by the time he was born. I'm working class but had a conservative (small 'c') upbringing and I've always liked what he has to say.
