My Bridge Went Under The Water in Poly Bridge

- Today we build bridges in all sorts of unconventional ways. I figure the less bridge we have the cheaper thing will be so we let gravity do a lot of the work. This poses an interesting problem since jumping cars on bridges adds a lot of stress. Slowly but surely I find the solutions I need, often under budget as well. At one point I realize that if I build into the water that may help take some of the weight off my bridge structure. Not sure if that's true but my bridge did work.. Poly Bridge gameplay with my commentary as always!

If the cars go underwater the level is failed, it doesn’t matter if cars touch another checkpoint
I mean, a good portion of the truck is submerge when hitting star 1, but it doesnt fail till star 2. You right, but you can see why he thinks the way he did.

I don't understand why this game makes me laugh so hard. I just like how the bridges he attempts to make just disintegrates and the cars go "weeee" driving into oblivion

Poly bridge ended up in my recommended yesterday after about a year then suddenly DF uploads. Dang

BTW, there is an option to see how much stress your stuff goes through. I think it's the weight on top. The closer to red it is, the more likely it will break. It will make things easier for you to see where it doesn't work.
Triangles are cheaper and stronger than the squares with crossed things in this game, also think on how the force distributes around the bridge (if you make a nice curve the force applies more evenly). For example in 14:40 part of why it worked was because of that, better force transfer to the pilars
I love Poly Bridge
This is the only game that my a level physics can come into play, and when I saw Df pretty much make a, one sided seesaws of sorts for the jump, I looked at it and went, the bottom support structure is gonna snap like a twig, great video either way

I do love that one of the most common problem wasn't the bridge collapsing but the car getting stuck
The reason the last level is failing is that the cars go too much in water, its a fail condition, so just skim the top of the stars, i like this series. Do more!

Farming, mining, dungeon crawling, levels for just about everything including silly stuff like sleeping. several weapon classes, and ridiculous weapon upgrade system. Plus you have more than a hundred ways to make tons of money!
DF, if you plan on finishing this game in its entirety, you'll need to keep all the levels under budget and make sure none of the bridge breaks to unlock secret levels at the end of the game.
Use the things in the bottom right corner. They are useful

You can actually turn on a setting where you can see the stress on certain parts of the bridge which might be useful
i dont want to spoil it but at some point if you change a number on something which is not even connected can make it from working and it not working just a heads up
