Recommended mods: Swing Through Grass WAILA (tells you what block you're looking at, useful for ores WALIA Harvestability (tells you if your pick can harvest the ore you're looking at) NEAT (damage indicators) Quark (QOL stuff and useful items) Supplementaries (useful mechanical and aesthetic blocks) Aileron (really great utility and balancing for Elytra)
If you want divine rpg to be the main focus in terms of exploration, then the grappling hook mod would be siiiick. Imagine grappling across a bunch of islands, fighting bosses and retreating via grappling hook etc. Batman modpack is best modpack. But also since this series is bringing out fancy builder Jardon I think mods like Mr.Crayfish's furniture and malisis' doors would be great additions. Even chisels and bits if you want to go that far with it(my personal favorite mod so I'm a little biased). There was another mod in the original series called 'Better enchanting' and I know with the new way of enchanting(well not new but you know what I mean) it isn't as big of a deal, but I remember a lot of the last half of the RL craft series was focused on just enchanting and re-enchanting items which wouldn't work as well with divine rpg items. You can't really remake a lot of the stuff in it super easily to combine so I feel having a way to pick enchants, if at some sort of extra cost, would benefit the flow of the series. Obviously you shouldn't really be able to pick something like mending, but ensuring you get prot 4 on all your armor would be a big help in moving to the next task instead of living at the enchanting table. Also, would you mind putting the modlist in the description? It would be cool to follow along and maybe play the same mods at some point. Sorry for the essay I'm passionate about block game.

1000% agree this mans has got me through secondary school and college and every week of work since and seeing him bringing back this episodic style has brought me so much joy its hard to believe
for 1.16.5 mods, i reccommend Features & Creatures. it's this tiny little mod which adds only 1 weapon, 1 armor (which is also sort of a weapon), 3 mobs, and a rare potion trader (like the wandering trader). its a super tiny one and its super fun I've added it to all my worlds since its release!!
Flowerbeds, a small fountain, creating a fish pond using the cattails and similar water plants from "Oh the biomes you'll go"... there's a bunch of stuff you could create around your house! If you get a pet, you could create a pet house for it. If you get husbandry animals, it's time for a proper barn.

I missed the Modded Minecraft content so much. I regrettably don't have enough time (or attention span) to sit through the VoDs, so I haven't been watching any streaming stuff he does, but I really do love his Modded Minecraft content.
It's crazy how much minecraft and its players have evolved. Going to nether on the second episode used to be unheard of but now it's totally reasonable, maybe even late depending on who you ask lol.
I’m just waiting for him to get that sweet spontaneous flower guy gear,from those lil green headed dudes. The Terran armor. An upgrade from iron for sure, and far better DRIP!

I absolutely love this series!! The adventure and goals are awesome!! Ragnarock Isn’t my favorite because it’s boring to watch players be sitting at their base building random things and collecting things to build more things to farm more and more. Like skyblock. I would love to see Jordan with a couple people play the mutation zombies mod where every 10 days the zombies gain better awareness and states over time and you have to survive the apocalypse. I watched suev play it and the suspense is incredible

Loving this series, I grew up watching the first divine rpg playthrough and laughing so hard at the land shark incident. I was 12 then and I'm 21 now. You're part of an ever shrinking list of OG minecraft youtubers who still play minecraft and love it, you and Etho are 2 of my favorite OG minecraft youtubers. I'm surprised you've never collabed. Anyway I'm glad you've embraced the classic style content, the algorithm may not boost it as much as "trendier" youtubers, but know that the people who watch it anyway truly love it or we wouldn't be here. You'll always be one of the greats

I really hope you take your time with this series. This truly brings me back to late elementary school and middle school. Staying up until 4 in the morning and waking back up at 6 in the morning watching your og modded survival series, over and over again. That series is truly what got me into minecraft and this series here is more than likely what will get me back into it, especially having a pc to mod it now.
Suggestion: The Grapple Hook Mod it adds grappling hooks that are upgrade able and very customisable it makes very easy to traverse the nether i because you can swing from the roof across lava lakes and forests Edit : Also you might want to add TheOneProbe WAILA or HYWALA
Something to help you Jardon.. In Journey Map you can open the settings and change the icons for mobs and animals to render tiny faces so you can see what they are, meaning if you need wool you can see where there are sheep on the map, for example

This series has brought me back to my childhood when the original modded survival was running which is crazy to think was 10 years ago... also jardon if you want a really powerful weapon early on, there's the "Fury Maul" out of divinerpg which just takes some diamond ore, obsidian, and rupees which does 18 dmg and 2.6 attack speed. Unsure of what the dura is but I've been running that in my custom modpack that has divinerpg in it and it hasn't really gone down in dura at all (looking at probably close to 700 mobs including the dragon killed with it with no repairs and only unbreak 2 on it)

A great health indicator mod would be Hwyla a solid choice to check out and it also shows you what block you are looking at and the names of the mobs as well. If you don't already have one and are looking for a good disenchanter mod, I'd definitely recommend checking out Apotheosis, it's the same one from Ragnamod that adds the Library block and the crazy high level enchants.

Tip for building, Captain: Use torches pretty sparingly because the building community considers them pretty ugly on their own, lol. Creating a table (upside-down stair up against the wall for example) to place your torch or (preferably) lantern on is a good step to light up your house without having to place mutlipe torches on the walls (one torch is enough to keep mobs from spawning in your current small base anyway); and never place torches RIGHT next to each other, lol :P That's also a building sin
Crafting a crafting upgrade and a furnace upgrade is essential for backpacks, and the other slots can be changed. I use tool swapper which switches to the tool needed. All you do is have one tool in your hotbar and rest in your backpack

I do plan to do a divine rpg let’s play with my cousin here on RUclips and another modded lp with my cousin on twitch. She even plans to create her own RUclips and twitch channels to stream minecraft with me. We also plan to stream fnaf glamrock and poppy playtime on our RUclips and twitch channels
I'm loving the return to modded survival series especially the building your own base I can't wait to see how it turns out. Curious, are there settings to adjust the intensity of the bright glow the shaders make lights sources and the like? The strong contrast between the way the shaders seems to darken everything and the intense glow it can be a bit painful on the eyes to watch. Anyways, looking forward to more episodes.

You should plant some of the cool glowy transparent blue-purple nether mushrooms around the house, it will not only make things more visible at night, not only give a pretty enchanted forest look, not only look nice with the palette you have, but also should make the base area a little safer
Though I'm partial to you adding it (if you see the Curseforge page you'll see why) I think Supplementaries would be a great fit in your series. Everything from wall lanterns to bombs and globes are added. I still remember the cows from episode 1, so I've been here for a while. Would absolutely love to see this :)
Quark is a really good mod, I always use it. It doesn't do much, but there are a lot of little things that make life nicer- like buttons for inventory sorting and inserting items into chests.
would definitely recommend getting WAILA or some damage indicators mod - just helps in general to know what you are fighting/mining for big packs like this where you might otherwise get confused/overwhelmed
Also definitely recommend quark on top of WAILA and Swing Through Grass. Just a good quality of life mod, cool cave asthenics and double doors open all at once Also to get better cave gen, YUNGS better caves as well as YUNGS other mods are great.
Jardoon, you should add tge wall jump and the paraglider mod! (Two separate mods). Wall jump is self explanatory, you jump against a wall, shift, and jump off, but adds a double jump enchant as well. And paraglider is actually a crazy awesome mod that adds paragliders like the ones from Zelda, Breath of the wild, and a stamina system for said paragliders. However it also adds small goddess statues that can upgrade your stamina and hearts. Pretty cool mods!
i think blood magic could be a cool power progression mod for this, especially since in ragnamod it seemed you were pretty unfamilier with it, so it could be an opportunity for you to get a bit more understanding with it! also fighting the divine rpg bosses with blood magic stuff sounds cool

Since you're using sophisticated backpack mod, you might as well use sophiisticated storage, I know you will be using ME system, but that wouldn't require making one everywhere you go (remember that you can also put upgrage on your backpack like crafting and other usefulll stuff). Goblin traders is a small but neat mod, Artifacts, giving you more of a reason to explore dungeons.

Mowzies mobs is a great mod for exploring and it is just really fun to run into a frostmaw while walking back to your igloo house :(

A great health indicator mod would be Hwyla a solid choice to check out and it also shows you what block you are looking at and the names of the mobs as well.
If you don't already have one and are looking for a good disenchanter mod, I'd definitely recommend checking out Apotheosis, it's the same one from Ragnamod that adds the Library block and the crazy high level enchants.

Tip for building, Captain: Use torches pretty sparingly because the building community considers them pretty ugly on their own, lol. Creating a table (upside-down stair up against the wall for example) to place your torch or (preferably) lantern on is a good step to light up your house without having to place mutlipe torches on the walls (one torch is enough to keep mobs from spawning in your current small base anyway); and never place torches RIGHT next to each other, lol :P That's also a building sin

Crafting a crafting upgrade and a furnace upgrade is essential for backpacks, and the other slots can be changed. I use tool swapper which switches to the tool needed. All you do is have one tool in your hotbar and rest in your backpack
I’ve been a die hard fan since I started playing minecraft back in 2012 when I was 13 and In middle school. Now im 23 and graduated from college. I do plan to do a divine rpg let’s play with my cousin here on RUclips and another modded lp with my cousin on twitch. She even plans to create her own RUclips and twitch channels to stream minecraft with me. We also plan to stream fnaf glamrock and poppy playtime on our RUclips and twitch channels
I recommend you add WAILA or something with the same purpose. it tells you what block you look at so you don't confuse similar looking ores
Modded survival was the first thing on your channel I watched. This mod was awesome back then and i cannot wait to see how much its updated since then
@CaptainSparklez you should add like Project E or even like mystical agriculture also remember to add the HWYLA to see the ores and the mobs :)

I'm loving the return to modded survival series especially the building your own base I can't wait to see how it turns out. Curious, are there settings to adjust the intensity of the bright glow the shaders make lights sources and the like? The strong contrast between the way the shaders seems to darken everything and the intense glow it can be a bit painful on the eyes to watch. Anyways, looking forward to more episodes.

You should plant some of the cool glowy transparent blue-purple nether mushrooms around the house, it will not only make things more visible at night, not only give a pretty enchanted forest look, not only look nice with the palette you have, but also should make the base area a little safer
Though I'm partial to you adding it (if you see the Curseforge page you'll see why) I think Supplementaries would be a great fit in your series. Everything from wall lanterns to bombs and globes are added. I still remember the cows from episode 1, so I've been here for a while. Would absolutely love to see this :)
Zoni's Mod would match the theme of this modpack like a charm. It adds like 200 weapons with different stats and they drop randomly.

Just Enough Resources also helps with knowing how to find things that are not crafted like ores and mob drop only items. Very useful for any pack!
Quark is a really good mod, I always use it. It doesn't do much, but there are a lot of little things that make life nicer- like buttons for inventory sorting and inserting items into chests.
would definitely recommend getting WAILA or some damage indicators mod - just helps in general to know what you are fighting/mining for big packs like this where you might otherwise get confused/overwhelmed
loved this series when I was younger, and love it now!
Also definitely recommend quark on top of WAILA and Swing Through Grass. Just a good quality of life mod, cool cave asthenics and double doors open all at once
Also to get better cave gen, YUNGS better caves as well as YUNGS other mods are great.
Jardoon, you should add tge wall jump and the paraglider mod! (Two separate mods). Wall jump is self explanatory, you jump against a wall, shift, and jump off, but adds a double jump enchant as well. And paraglider is actually a crazy awesome mod that adds paragliders like the ones from Zelda, Breath of the wild, and a stamina system for said paragliders. However it also adds small goddess statues that can upgrade your stamina and hearts. Pretty cool mods!

those nether temples have tomb things underneath the center that can have netherite, as well as other decent loot, they are definitely worth it
i think blood magic could be a cool power progression mod for this, especially since in ragnamod it seemed you were pretty unfamilier with it, so it could be an opportunity for you to get a bit more understanding with it! also fighting the divine rpg bosses with blood magic stuff sounds cool

Since you're using sophisticated backpack mod, you might as well use sophiisticated storage, I know you will be using ME system, but that wouldn't require making one everywhere you go (remember that you can also put upgrage on your backpack like crafting and other usefulll stuff).
Goblin traders is a small but neat mod, Artifacts, giving you more of a reason to explore dungeons.
It's been a while since I last was this interested in a modded survival series, only the almighty Captain is capable of doing that 😎

The best stuff you can find in one of those nether towns, is the respawner statue. It's like a cheap respawn anchor, I believe.
