Get a bench and a shoe rack for near the front door so when you and Micah come home, you immediately take your shoes off. Have guests do the same, less dirt / sand / etc that will be trekked in.
here in Hawai'i, we leave our shoes and footwear outside the door. she also has a gated courtyard so she'll most likely leave her footwear outside

I think that outdoor shower is such a great idea. It will pull the entire house together. Not letting it feel too separated. Like a garden oasis there. 🌺🎋🌾🌻

Floor lenth curtains make such a difference! You can have 2 layers on the rack so, you can have sheer to keep the light in, or dark with a colored curtain. So you can get a curtain rod that had 2 rods. 1 for the sheer 1 for the colored

You mentioned youre going to get some plants, here are some recommendations for easy plants to start you off!
Pothos (Vining plant, low light, water like every 2 weeks, easiest plant EVER and you can propogate it to have a whole bunch of them!)
Giant split leaf philodendren (This ones gets pretty big, its beautiful, dont have to water often!)
Aloe
The house is beautiful, it’s so sweet to hear you talk about your future in that house!
the outdoor shower is a MUST

CLEANING YOUR COUNTERTOPS TIP!! Mix rubbing alcohol water & whatever essential oil you like that will clean them without damaging & keep them shining

you definitely need a Robot Vacuum, especially since it's all one floor! make sure to buy one that also 'washes' floors. it doesn't have to be an expensive one, they all will be able to grab hairs and dust. it will save you so much time and energy and will always look clean through out the week in between deep cleanings
