Depends on what I’m throwing. Cranking, hard to beat Berkeley Big Game 15 lb mono. Topwater and flipping, 17 lb sublime floro. Spinning rigs I throw spider line braid to a floro leader. My leader is usually sunline steelhead and salmon leader (abrasion resistant)

During the tournament will you follow up with a soft bait after the top water blowup misses?
So what I’ve found here lately is having a 2.8” swim bait is money when one misses. Now in this video I’m practicing so following up wasn’t necessary.
