What would you like to know? I can answer your questions if you like. I built a tracked one powered with 24v and wheelchair motors with a 24v alternator and fpv to my big screen.
I built a tracked big one and i removed the frame and buffed all the paint off and took a heavier Guage steel and basically laminated it to the original frame/housing so I could weld the wheelchair motor mounts to it at the proper angles and a beefier surface to mount bearing flanges
Its cool and I think one day in the future they will all or most will be be that way. Their is one main issue that still has to be dealt with. You need something with weight behind the machine to keep the machine down so.it clears to the pavement better and most importantly heavy snow thats high, especially heavy snow packed down at the end of the driveway where the plows packed it in. You still need a person (man) to work the machine into hard heavy snow like that. So the one thing you still have to figure out is a device with weight for the back of the machine to work it into that kind of snow once you have accomplished that the machines ready for anything. Otherwise and stil very well done. You should make a 1971 Ariens sno-thro 10000 series remote controlled, their heavy machines and the auger stsys on once you engage it and the machine will move by itself once its put in gear. Perfect candidate for remote control. Ive talked to a few people about that already. Now were seeing the idea materialize. Check out that machine.
I built mine out of a heavy tracked one and full size batteries and wheelchair motors. It's dig down to asphalt no problem. Fpv to the big screen is also really nice. Cheers
When you want to stay inside and have a hot cup of joe and watch TV but you have to snowblow the driveway. Should have stopped the music when you were snowblowing. It was OK in the beginning.
One word... liability. The people who are smart enough to build these things are also smart enough to understand how run them without it becoming a danger to themselves or others. The average American is not really responsible, or very intelligent. And probably would run this into traffic, or worse over the neighbor's dog or kid. The lawsuits would be endless, and very costly.
I can see someone fucking up and running over a dog or even God forbid a child. Some things in life are ok by remote control like a tv remote or drone but not a out of control snow blowing blade spinning killer.
