do you mean how far away from the phone can you monitor it? haven't tested that range. I just arm it and then place it where it needs to be and I don't need to monitor it.
It's called a "field recorder" which means it records locally inside. You can timecode sync with cameras or you can do a Bluetooth live feed connection to a source.
