One advantage to early spring before all the leaves pop is you can see through the turns better and it’s the first sign of it’s not winter! Nice review of the Duck.😁
Bought mine in June. Retired and loving it. Previously had heavier BMW'S..LOVE THEM also but this thing is so much fun. Torquey, Fun, easy to maneuver and FUN
Hi Lali, yet another great vid, loved the hidden gem comment about the vibrating tank not being such a bad thing 🤣 keep up the great work… loving it 👍🏻
I just bought one of these, the icon version, it's getting delivered Friday, I'm pretty excited. 😅Like a kid before Christmas over here waking up at 4am wondering if it's Friday yet.😅 The previous owner changed the exhaust and seat, it sounds nice, and likely keeps it cooler. I almost got the 400x or speed 400, but when I saw the scrambler and then watched your video to learn more about it. Then I went to the dealer and sat on it, wow, it is a nice geometry bike, feels lighter than it is. Great video, thanks for talking me into buying a motorcycle👍 I'm in Northeast PA, I think about 2 hours from the canyon
Looks like you had fun! I got a chance to do a demo ride on a Scrambler 1000 a few years ago, it was awesome, only reason there isn't one in the garage is I just couldn't afford another bike!
" kinda pleasant " " we have wined , dined, and...lunch" it's official lali has been corrupted by Josh n Chey...she is forever lost...🤣🤣🤣. I have been looking at used 800 versions of these. All the people said they are fun. Good vid
If you weigh way less or more than the target rider which in most bikes is about 180 pounds you would benifit so much from getting suspension for your weight. The damping can also be tuned for diffrent weights and they make a huge diffrence in what a bike feels like.
I have a question ... You have done long distance rides and have friends who do ... I see you have your phone always mounted to bike BUT I'm nervous about rain with phone ... What have you found to protect rain for your phone not light rain pouring rain ??? Right now I have a GPS but its old.. thanks for thoughts
If I get caught in the rain I'll put the phone in my pocket or backpack, but most phones are water resistant up to a certain level anyway. I can take it off using one hand if I need to. If I'm using directions I usually have them playing in my Cardo in my helmet so I don't technically need to see the phone.
Yep, size up and order the -5mm cheekpad option this thing is a TIGHT fit. If you have a store near you ZLA or Cycle Gear go try it on in store first I'd say
I tried that same helmet at a Cycle Gear store in Omaha a couple weekends ago. Lali is right, it's tight. I didn't like the fit, but it looks rad. I ended up getting a Sedeci Sistema 2 modular helmet.
I have zero problem doing 3-4 hours rides to nowhere on my scrambler 1200. I also enjoy the recoil of a 500 s&w, so everyone shouldn't write it off immediately
What kind of music do you listen to when you’re riding? I just found a new band that are originally from Romania, they’re called Liliac and they’re really awesome you should check them out.
My wife and I picked up a ‘16 ICON with 1300 mi for not much more than half new. Agree with your review comments. The front end behaves much better with different viscosity fork oil. Great all around small bike.
Yep still have and love the MT07, I really don't want to trade him for anything at the moment. I think it's one of Yamahas most successful bikes. Love riding these other ones to test out but the MT07 still has a lot of charm for me
Something to know about the Scrambler: it's an air cooled engine, that needs valve service every 7500 miles for $600, and new timing belts for an extra $200 every 15k miles. That's $1400 in service every 15k miles, not including the chain or anything else consumable. That's too much for my taste.
At least two distracting double entendres. Ummm, Lali, I'm trying to keep MY mind clean. YOU are not helping! LOL! Now back to the Ducati's. Was this event strictly for the 800, as in is there something new about the model? Also were there 1100's to ride at this event, or had you ever got on one before? Just being curious (nosey, maybe?)
Tar “snakes” folks, not real live or dead snakes.
Good catch 😂 I didn't even think twice about saying that
Thank you!

Watching your videos all the way from South Africa Lali. Love the content

Hi Lali! Another great video from you. Keep up with your great content and awesome vibes you always have when you’re making a video!❤
Thank you so much!
Hi Lali, yet another great vid, loved the hidden gem comment about the vibrating tank not being such a bad thing 🤣 keep up the great work… loving it 👍🏻
Yeah this video...my descriptions need an R rating 🤣
Thanks for replying to my comment, so would that be R as in RIDE it 😉😂
I remember getting the scrambler a my first bike in 2017. Loved it and miss it. I had the full throttle version, at the time it was black and yellow.
I run road 6's on my mt07 right now but I've heard good things about the continentals, cool to see you trying them out!
Hi Lali, glad you had a blast on the scrambler and enjoyed your time out. 👍😎😎😎
Another great video Lali! Good information on the Ducati Scrambler.

Wow....what a great area and set of roads!
I have that bike. I'm 1.94-1.95 around 90kg. I love it.
Oh wow you are tall! I guess it is still comfortable even if you are tall, good to know
I go on rides for 3-4 hours at a time. I sometimes need to stretch after hahaha, but yeah it's pretty comfy.
They have a great story behind them and also the music is great too. You will not regret it!
Looks like you had fun! I got a chance to do a demo ride on a Scrambler 1000 a few years ago, it was awesome, only reason there isn't one in the garage is I just couldn't afford another bike!
Fun video Lali! Useful for people as well.
RUclips recommendations turned out to be a great new sub here 💕 from India 🌸
Welcome aboard! 😁
Great review. Thanks Lali.
Glad you liked it!!
I be here for Lali, another great video, thanks for sharing!🌟
Keep going Lali!!! Hope your well!
Informative and quirky as usual😎
Good review! Beautiful area.
Hello, Are you still using this Movo ACM400 mic?

😆 ahaha yes it rubbed off it seems
Nice helmet, Lali! And a nice review.

Hey Lali what area were you guys in? Blue Ridge?
Nice review! It kind of reminds me of a Ducati Grom, kind of tiny! Looks pretty cool, though.
If Ducati came out with a Grom that would be epic
Does any one know if a scrambler on a dirt track can do spinning back wheel in 3th/gear? Like sand mx track.
Great video thanks for making it, I'm a newbie to this whole RUclips thing any insights would be great
Nice review keep up the good work how much horsepower and torque does it have
74hp 49ft lb. It’s a fun bike. It power wheelies in 1st and you can clutch it up in 2nd. It’s similar ride to the mt07.
Pilot road 4 or 5 and pirelli sc
When the Supra pulled over and you passed, I reflexively waved thanks to the driver :'D
I've waved to bikers while driving before so....it's okay
the video arrives just for lunch
Perfectly timed lol
can we get a Lali chant goin in the comments or?
That feels like a cult 😂
Does your Mt-07 vibrate when you accelerate like the Scrambler?
Yes it's overall much more "rough" feeling than the Ducati in my opinion, but I feel it more so in the footpegs though, rather than the tank
@@AntiParallali Thanks.

@@AntiParallali what do you have for Cardo attached to helmet ? Thanks for reply
How come you mentioned Romania when you discussed about Rever?! Hahaha!
WEEEEE ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lali, is that the new Sedici Strada 3 helmet? If so, do you like it? 🤔

Yeah I need to look into them! Never heard of that band
That's some good sounds
bike fit,s U, Sound is deep and i like that.
Nice bike and review but really needs help in the sound department😎
The 1200 Scrambler is a lot heavier and I think a Taller Seat. I think the 800 Dessert sled has longer travel suspension and a taller seat height .
Tad over priced compared to the competition.
Good to see you out enjoying the sunshine.
You are right, I forgot to mention the price in the US, starts at $10,995

Still riding your MT-07? Found anything you would like to buy 8nstead?

when you coming to Wales to do some proper wet weather riding? lol
You guys are next level over there! What gear do you usually wear for all the rain?
@@AntiParallali Gortex in wet season and perforated leather in summer if it arrives lol but we got some of the best routes in the world.

I'm so sorry you had to go to Helen, it is the closest to hell you can get in GA.
Factory bikes aren’t preset for Lalis unfortunately.

lali what a beautiful woman!
She wen't from "cheap gloves are good as well" to ducati scrambler...
Lmao imagine me getting like a Panigale or something and then wearing a pair of $2 knitted gloves from Walmart 🤣
You are like perfect size
