Idk I kinda found this song kinda calm and soothing? especially after the hard hit of Getting Closer. @@viollasdreams yeah I agree with you! Of course there were moments they could give to the China line HOWEVER ; for what we got, they have memorable moments (jun especially to me)
Yes exactly! It's not always good for the flow of the song to let every member get exactly the same amount of lines. It's important how you execute your lines and I feel like Jun and Hao had memorable lines in this. They made themselves stand out with the few lines they had and that's important.

I LOVE waiting for PD's opinions of seventeen (and everyone else). But seventeen is my favorite group and it's so nice to hear someone else's thoughts. It can give you a whole new perspective and I'm thankful for that 😊💜💖💎
the CHORUS ok so you know how in paintings negative space is incredibly important in creating an image and is sometimes “over” used to make a statement? like pd said with the whole minimalist thing, that’s literally what seventeen did; they used the negative sound to create just as much of an impact. and the impact OOF this song gets me every time because in the chorus it’s so unexpected, i guess. it feels real, unframed and authentic... that kinda feeling was what made smile flower/laughter so emotional for me: there wasn’t much background noise to add/distract from lines themselves. by utilizing empty sound, seventeen has created an entirely new feeling that could not be reached with traditional song methods - obviously, a song would usually drop at that first beat of the chorus, maybe a quick fakeout but nothing like what svt did. i feel like i’m rambling so i’ll just go
I really expected a beat drop with Jihoon, but then it was just a very hollow part of thr chorus. Although with BooSeokHoon's vocals they were the beat drop. Just like in Shine where it was minimal all the way and their powerful vocals made the chorus. Then when you did get that typical beatdrop it was Jeonghan's and Joshua's soft voices really balancing it out. I really like that, but I do agree with him that it felt very empty. I mean, I did like it a lot, it just felt too short. I can't wait to listen to whole album and watch PD do a listening party ! ^~^
Svt can never make a bad song and i feel like Winter is that one season where Svt showers Carat's with loves first Thanks now Home Minghao and Jun finally got the lines they deserved and I really think that Minghao, Woozi and Joshua owned this Era but also Hoshi in a way PD: "Wow its WONWOO" Me: "Aint that me when i first saw it"
i feel like you're definitely right about the set up for a new album, they have been mentioning wanting to get a daesang basically in every interview/vlive, so i have a strong feeling that they have a huge full album that's going to blow us all away. (or at least that's what i'm hoping)

i love the honesty of this channels reactions - he doesn’t pretend to be totally in love with every song bc he knows that that’s just not how it works... he gives his true opinion and what he thinks could be better sigh i love this channel
I really love how honest PD is. I mean, Good To Me is a really good B-Track. And there's a reason behind Home being the title track. They made sure to allocate the song according to the season. Also, they chose Home because it's winter and it is a song that you would definitely love to listen to on a cold weather. But then again, something that I admire the most was their versatility and brave experimental abilities, trusting one another to risk something new to the world. I mean, the song's really unique and hollow and bitter sweet, but looking on the other side, it's true that you want to look for more. Can I listen to the other songs too. SEVENTEEN never gives us what we expect, they give us more than what we expect. Thank you PDnim 💕 Will surely wait for your Track Party!!!! Supporting you from Philippines.
It took a while for my brain to absorb all the unexpected twists and transitions too and next thing u know u keep unconsciously singing "coz u're my home home home home" ..it grows on u..
I have theories that from A1 to now these albums have a connection. Well obviously DWC WITHOUT YOU and CLAP connect I'm still trying to figure out Teen, age to YMMDay aside from the the Dark DWC performance ending being the beginning of Home.
For sure You make my day and you made my dawn albums are connected. at least the lyrics is a direct connection to the one before it. It's like one big musical. like Oh My is the crush, Holiday is the first date. Come to me is the guy confessing. What's Good is the guy trying to convince the girl about giving it a try. Moonwalker is the high of falling in love. Our Dawn is Hotter than Day is the feeling of being hopeful about a new relationship and what it will bring. In this album, the relationship became stagnant and is on the verge of breaking, hence the dark of day before the sun rises again. Good to Me is about how they start noticing the distance between each other and but is still in denial because they are good to each other. Home is when they finally realize, they are holding on to the relationship because of memories and how it makes them feel safe. Hug is when they breakup, but trying to end it amicably because they do still love each other. Chili is about moving on, going out with friends, but finding themselves still cold because the other is not there. Shh is the reconciliation, and each taking the blame for the mistakes they made, and promising to work at their relationship more, and finally, getting closer is when they get to the making up sexy time. lol. but yeah.
I was just about to go to bed when you uploaded! Guess I'm staying up a little bit later. Also gotta say, your reaction of pure joy on your face, every time from when Jeonghan started the song, to Wonwoo singing, to Jeonghan/Jun's high note transition was everything and a nice way to end my day :)
Initially I felt really overwhelmed with everything that was coming at me too. I also felt empty when it was building up and then it pulled back...like my mind couldn't wrap around what just happened because everything about this song was so unexpected. BUT I think that's what made it so addictive, the way they played with all these different genres and made it work. 1st listen-that was weirdly overwhelming, 2nd time- OooOOh I like it, 3rd time into this song- OKAY, OKAY I REALLY LOVE THIS SONG~
If you will listen to their selfmade fanchant, the almost empty chorus will makes sense. it kinda feel like they created this song, with the fanchant in mind.
I feel more Good to Me as a title track than Home, even if it's the first song on the mini album xD And yes, this comeback is the Seungkwan and DK' comeback, they're literally shining. But I feel that now, even if they still has the less lines on the whole song, that the China Line have more killing parts, a bit more of lines and more accurate to their vocals, not only repeating the chorus or something like that
Did any one else notice that the choreography during the chorus was them turning a door knob and opening a door and making a roof AHHHH THEY ARE JUST THAT GOOD
idk i loved it so much it really touched my heart and it proved me that Woozi is a freaking jenious I was already overwhelmed by this chorus and when the actual drop came in I was nearly dead seventeen vocals desrves way more recognition btw

Shh is the reconciliation, and each taking the blame for the mistakes they made, and promising to work at their relationship more, and finally, getting closer is when they get to the making up sexy time. lol. but yeah.
Yes!! You speak what my heart is feeling! I feel like this song is not enough i need more. Really love your reaction !!
“we're never getting a dark seventeen comeback let's just give up on that” LMAOOO IKR
And this is actually a good dawn music; smooth, minimal, pure, a song that is like you want to relax because it is dawn...
Perhaps the lack of satisfaction is because it is the Dawn, it is the beginning
If you will listen to their selfmade fanchant, the almost empty chorus will makes sense. it kinda feel like they created this song, with the fanchant in mind.
*I didn’t mind it when I felt unsatisfied at the end, just means I can watch it again lol* 😂
I actually got Home as an ad while watching this video. An ad I'll never skip. 😊
hes so whipped for jeonghan and its a big mood
The only channel I watched that makes reaction videos🤗❤️
You can clearly see that he’s not being bias whenever he reacts in different MVs
I feel more Good to Me as a title track than Home, even if it's the first song on the mini album xD And yes, this comeback is the Seungkwan and DK' comeback, they're literally shining. But I feel that now, even if they still has the less lines on the whole song, that the China Line have more killing parts, a bit more of lines and more accurate to their vocals, not only repeating the chorus or something like that
Did any one else notice that the choreography during the chorus was them turning a door knob and opening a door and making a roof AHHHH THEY ARE JUST THAT GOOD
Hahahah ahh wonu ❤... I wish they give him a ballad song xD I love his singing voice... looking forward for that ballad song since 2016 lol
idk i loved it so much it really touched my heart and it proved me that Woozi is a freaking jenious
I was already overwhelmed by this chorus and when the actual drop came in I was nearly dead
seventeen vocals desrves way more recognition btw
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS!!! Will you do a listening party?
svt and iKON are the best groups of 3rd gen yASSSS
