    That was 55 minutes well spent. Once my wife, stepson and I get setup in our new little house 🏡 and out of this small two bedroom apartment I definitely want to start building flies again and trying them out. We will be in Ohio and there are a few musky lakes nearby, plus bass and other species.

    Gunnar, could you please share the complete weight of the fly? While you mentioned that it's no more than 1 gram, as we don't have access to the same beads as you, I'm curious to know the approximate weight. This information will help me come up with an alternative solution. Thank you!

    Giving streamers sexualized names was in the past. Now we are naming them like Arab Kings :). Looks like a great pike/musky chew toy. Great tie and description Gunnar

    Pretty sick man. Has your success with this fly been in still water or does it need some current?

    Would you be able to tell me how much the fly weighs fully complete with split ring and hook?

    is it importat for the tubes to fit snug on the mono? or is it okay if you use a tube wit larger inner diameter?

    I may have finally found a way to successfully tie Beasts.
    Now I just have to buy all the tube gear.

    Awesome video and tie. Hey could one turn the loop that is hanging down 90º so that a regular hook could work? I could drop a 6/0 hook on there then.

      @gray1738 Год назад

      You could but most fly tying hooks have small eyes so they don't move freely with split rings. I used pr320s for a while then switched to Owner Zo-Wire inline singles and noticed a higher hook up %.
