The thing about David Arquette is that he actually went and wrestled on the indies as recently as after the pandemic. Not sure if he still wrestles but he had some matches in recent years
I think he originally retired after that death match against Nick Gage where Luke and Jack Perry had to take him to the hospital after. I think he came back out for one match when Luke Perry died and wrestled Jack in a tribute match and then re-retired.
David Arquette actually ran an independent circuit for awhile because he was a big wrestling fan and felt he needed to make up for the whole WCW fiasco. That's why his total was so high
Something you have to keep in mind when talking about old school guys like Flair and Dusty (or anyone from a major promotion in that era) is not only were they doing the normal circuits, they also did a lot of TV tapings. You look at Flair's page on Cage Match and you'll see a lot of days where he's wrestling 3-4 matches because they were 5-10 minute TV segments and not the 30-40 minute matches you'd get at a live event.
Little fun fact about Dustin... Back in 2002 when WWE was running House Shows multiple times a day in different cities... Dustin had 7 matches in 7 different cities all in the matter of 16 hours.

Couple of issues with this one: - it's not clear if it counts all the gimmicks or just the given name ; it's safe to assume Bryan Danielson includes "Daniel Bryan" matches, but does Isaac Yankem count for Kane? - Cagematch is nice for recent stuff, but they're nowhere near complete for pre-2000s shows. I bet none of the numbers given are accurate, and if it's probably in the same ballpark for Orton or Cena (only missing a few TV B- and C-shows), Hogan and Savage probably wrestled *a lot* more than that.
I don't know, Hogan was a "big deal". I'm guessing he only appeared when he wanted too for a LONG TIME! Savage was never really considered the TOP guy so he worked more trying to prove himself!

Glenn Jacobs may have wrestled more matches than Mark Calaway in their careers, but I don't believe Kane wrestled more matches than The Undertaker. The Undertaker was around a long time before Glenn Jacobs took on the Kane role.
There weren't that many shows from when Undertaker debuted in 1990 until Raw started in 1993. Also, no monthly PPVs until 1995. Kane debuted just 2 years later. Not to mention Undertaker has been hurt a few times... whereas Kane hardly ever missed any time.
