As I am the builder of the Double ender, and its here in my shop, the aircraft never was a PA18, its fuselage is all custom designed and built from scratch, the wings are modified PA18 extended wings, the aircraft as configured here is a set of wings that are not used or flown any longer. as the tail is also not used as shown in this iteration of the aircraft
Yes and very popular, just want people to know it was never a pa18 fuselage, and the wing and tail are one we tried but no longer used they were ok but heavy and complex @@SimHangerFS
Thanks Mark - They have implemented some great features here….I feel all planes should have those clickable headphones to reduce engine sounds without breaking VR immersion, ❤ it! 👏
I've been plonking the DE all-around backcountry CT (not an oxymoron - plenty of grass strips) and love it. Just be careful of those crosswind landings 🤣 (MooseP)

GREAT review, Mark, for what should be a hoot to fly! I can see myself getting into all kinds of trouble with this lil lass... I just picked this up and haven't had too much time in it yet. That said,with this technically being a "twin" engine craft, with two throttle controls, should both be mapped to the same peripheral binding? (Tech specs on the actual physical plane mentioned that the engines are NOT synchronized...). That would be easy to do on a yoke/TQ but a bit more of a challenge on a stick. I noticed on the first initial flights that a) do NOT firewall the throttle on takeoff or it'll quickly nose over, and b) it seems to have a tendency to want to spin around in circles, even with a lot of rudder input. May have to fiddle with some sensitivity settings. BTW, Got Friends put out their own VERY extensive overview video for folks looking for more info. Cheers!

Great aircraft, yes I mapped each throttle to a separate axis. On take off I apply quite a bit of left rudder.
you state it has two Rotax 9 engines?, I think you meant to type two rotax 912 engines...
