There is nothing so wonderful as a gushing parent and husband. Tired or not, your love for your guys is infectious and something worth watching and listening to. What I love most of all is the pride you have - when you talk about Robbie and swimming and hiking, and Lance and his TV show. You are a credit to yourself and your family - both immediate and extended. Tons of love.

I am so relieved to learn there are no lasting negative effects from the Comic Relief ordeal. i've been worrying about your knees and any other possible detriments to your diving career. Your ability to get through all that and be gracious to the onlookers at the same time amazed me. I have so much admiration for you and all that you do with such grace.

What a blessed and lucky little boy Robbie is to have parents like you and Lance.
Tom! So Excellent that Robbie is swimming on his own. I so remember when My Son started his swimming adventures. I was a Closeted Aquatics Director in the US South, and he is my one and only child. He also was my very best Water Baby Student ever. He was in my pool at 3 weeks old and is still most comfortable in any water. It is always a great relief for anyone to know that their child feels safe and confident around the water. Excellent for you all!!

Tom, Under the Banner of Heaven is amazing. Thanks for giving me or rather us, a heads up! Just seen the first two episodes. That garden dinner party in episode one was so beautifully shot and the script so tightly woven, it was amazing. A Masterclass. Not the type of drama I would necessarily have been drawn too, as I think you said it is better to go to this piece with little advance knowledge. Love to you, Dustin, Robbie and all the family. I saw you at the Times Cheltenham Festival so good luck with your promotional tour in the U.S. x

1) So excited that you’ll be talking about wedding story! I don’t think we’ve heard too much details about it. Like, how did you do with the vow knowing that Lance is a writer and was it a pressure for you to write your vow?
2) I’m so excited to know Under the Banner of Heaven will be out on Disney+!!! I can’t wait already to watch it and I’m in Australia praying hard we get it here on Disney+ too! It’s been so long we last seen a screen work from Lance! Can’t wait!

great to see you and hear about the past weeks/months it seems like; I have missed you! Robbie really is growing in leaps and bounds. I am impressed with both you and Lance, that, as parents, you provide him with opportunities to grow into fun activities, like hiking and swimming.
I really liked your Red Nose fund-raising event: swimming, rowing, biking, running ... simply awesome; especially your conversation with Eddie Izzard! And now you are a Freeman of Plymouth, with the wonderfully archaic right to march your flock of sheep through the downtown streets ... how appropriate for one who knits!!!

LOL it is exciting when your husband has a première, I always loved to see my husband's passion for movie making come out whenever he had a movie opening in LA or NYC startling at first when I found out what he did and even stranger having to accompany him to awards ceremonies, I miss those days now that my husband has passed! I just loved being that one spectator who was just a little bit more!

I have watched the first two episodes of UTBOH, the acting is just brilliant! If this series does not get some award nominations, then something is truly wrong. Can't wait to see the rest. I will say that is pretty heavy stuff, but done so well.

I loved the account of Robbie swimming. Truth is, it is a fine accomplishment (I was dog paddling in circles til high school). But proud parent you did not make it sound as if he could swim with crocodiles in the Nile. Or break all the Olympic records when he hits puberty.
You have a full plate of life and I am very happy for you (maybe just a tad envious). Wishing you and yours all the best.
