    SATTI RECIPE
    For Satti:
    1 kl Beef brisket
    1 kl Chicken breast
    1/2 kl chicken liver
    1/2 cup coconut milk (brush meat upon grilling)
    BBQ sticks/skewers
    For the sauce:
    2 medium onion
    2 medium tomato
    2 thumb size ginger
    2 thumb size turmeric
    30 pcs red and green chilies
    2 1/2 cups of cornstarch
    1 cup flour
    4 cups light brown sugar
    40g achuete powder
    4 cups water to mix with dry ingredients
    9 liters of water
    1 cup of coconut milk
    2 tsp oregano powder
    2 tsp shrimp paste/bagoong
    2 tsp peanut butter
    6 pcs of chicken/beef cubes
    5 tsp salt or to taste
    PROCEDURE SATTI SAUCE
    Saute 2 medium onion and 2 meduim tomato
    Add 2 thumb size ginger and 2 turmeric
    Add the 24 pcs red and green chilis
    Saute 3-5 mins.
    Blend/Grind the saute mixture
    Set Aside
    Dry Ingredients:
    Put in a large bowl the 2 1/2 cups of cornstarch, 1 cup of flour, 4 cups of brown sugar, 40g of achuete powder, and mix.
    Add 4 cups of water and mix.
    Strain to remove lumps
    In a Large Container/Casserole
    Boil 9 cups of water with tanglad
    When it boils, add 1 cup of coconut milk and mix.
    Bring to boil
    Add the ground mixture/saute mixture
    Add 2 tsp of curry powder
    2 tsp of oregano powder
    2 tsp of shrimp paste/bagoong
    2 peanut butter
    6 pcs. Chicken cubes
    5 tbsp salt or adjust and mix well
    Add the liquid mixture and stir continuously
    Keep boiling for 10-15 minutes while stirring
    Keep it in low to medium fire for 5-7 minutes
