Megaloblastic anemia is a condition which occurs commonly due to vitamin b12 deficiency or folic acid deficiency. There is abnormal proliferation of RBC's due to defective DNA synthesis, causing abnormally large RBC's called megaloblasts.

Why would a patient with megaloblastic anemia present with high B12 serum, low WBC RBC ferritin, and creatinine? Patient supplements B12 and Folate due to a history of megaloblastic anemia and methylation problems MTHFR.
