"If something untoward happens, my name will be spoiled in the whole village"
My kids won't be expecting that one.
Lol
@Corgy K Babu's way of thinking is correct in how he sees it. AS an elder while traveling with his two companions...HE is to be the most responsible of all three. So if something was to happen to Raeen, some people may say to him... weren't you watching him? How come you didn't want your friend of the danger? Why didn't you insist more vehemently that he listened to you? Even though Raeen is an adult married man who was younger and has children and should know better to take care. Babu and some people's eyes may be looked at as if he should have been taken control of the situation more and been more forceful... Or anything bad that may have happened to him would have never occurred. He never would have been able to live that down if he came back injured or worse. Some people would look at him AS the cause of his injury. It's a little bit difficult if you don't understand the culture fully. I'm Native, so our culture is somewhat similar when it comes to OUR elders. IF Raeen was walking with me and I told him to stop and he did not? I absolutely would have smacked him on the arm when he came back up from there. I'M AN ELDER~I I'M PUSHING 60. Therefore that puts me probably about the age to be his mother. So no,I really don't care how old you are or that you're married. YOU are expected to mind us in my culture as well when we tell you NOT to do something because it could hurt you. WE ARE NOT telling you that because you want to nag you. WE ARE telling you that because we love you and we don't want to see anything bad happen to you. NOT just because of the fact that we would look badly either for not looking out for you. THIS IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY "TO YOU" ...IF that makes sense? When Babu speaks of the whole village, to me that absolutely makes sense. In my Native culture it's very similar. We are a close knit community where one looks out for the other, whether we are related or not. In my culture, it is actually expected that if any child comes to your door and they are hungry you're supposed to feed them from whichever way you can figure out to do it. If you are low on food and you really could not spare any. Then you are supposed to bring them to one of your relatives or friends to see if they can put together a plate for them. THIS IS the responsibility of every adult person within our community. So in this way and in many others we are supposed to look out for each other no matter what. From when you were little until you become older. When you become older, that care doesn't end when you get married. Your children are still integrated into our lives as an extension. So IF this hopefully makes sense to you... Babu also holds the responsibility of making sure that Raeen comes home safely to his wife and children because he is the elder and they're entrusting him. He it's supposed to be the wisest one among the three and have the most judgment when it comes to being in the world even though he hasn't been out of the village when it comes to the comparisons. Like I said, I'm not sure if you understanding this or if I'm explaining it correctly but I hope that you do. Even though I don't live in a communal setting, the mentality is still ingrained in me because this is how I was raised to be.
@@christinegelabert1651 Same as in the Polynesian culture. Respect your elders whether you know them or not. Back in Samoa you can get hit by a random older person if they see you doing something stupid or disrespectful.
Right?! I'm taking notes, Babu has skills.
LMBO😂🤣🤣
7:46 "Why do you care , common man show will pay the bill" The old man got me rolling on the floor🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣
"Don't go there, my name will be spoiled if something happens to you!"
"Why are you not listening to me?!"
A few minutes later: climbs to that rusty construction himself.
And falls.... how untoward 🤭 I love these guys to pieces. I would love to spend the day with them in their village. 🤔 Are they from the same village?
I was always told, do as I say, not as I do! lol
I love how they help look after Babu, but in turn, he tries to look out for them as well! All have the other's best interest at heart.
I like theses guys, especially Raeen. He is open minded, and curious. He also takes care of Babu.
But why did babu slap him
Do you know?
@@kamranriaz4661 Because Raeen was too close to the edge. See where Babu said that the community would hold him responsible if something happened to Raeen? He is the elder and should be providing guidance to the younger men.
@@Mikedeela o
@@Mikedeela these people are so simple minded, but i respect their culture
He's also disrespected by Babuu, this is the begining of it ,☹️
Babu : "Why not you listening to me ? If something untoward hapoens , my name will be spoiled in the whole village"
IM DEAD 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the father/son type relationship between Babu and Raeen. Shit if only most americans treated one another w/that same level of respect and that caring mentality. It was so sweet to see them interact w/one another like that. I love all 3 of these guys.
I try to be more like these guys, but the people around me don't deserve it lol.
Babu: why don't you listen to me!😡
Me: Yeah haha!!! Respect your elders! Listen to Babu or get smacked 😂
I thought of that to lol . But Thinking if I even spoke up to one of our native elders
My elders are American and would do the same to me. Go Babu!!
@@markbathe3135 mine from Canada 🇨🇦 Alberta
In the West, if this happened, babu would've passed on by now.
yeah, if I ever talked back to my Gram, I would have gotten smacked for sure. I never tried it. When we started getting out of line, she would just look at us with her eyes open wide, and then raise one eyebrow. That's all it took, lol
Babu is always mentioning his age, but he seems as fit as the younger guys, and can probably run circles around them.
They eat much healthier over there!
@@expression3639 They eat less and move more, in the west, alot of elderly are planted on their couch watching TV
@@expression3639 You said it! spices, veggies, lentils, spiced tea, great for health.
Farming and tending livestock is hard physical work.
He’s only 65, too
I love how they take care of Babu and hold his hand. ❤
Raeen is a handsome man 💕
I have been thinking that this whole time. He is very handsome. Those broad shoulders though. Very handsome man. 😍
I have already stated I too have a crush on him. Handsome, kind, and smart too 😁
He's really, really good-looking, intelligent and a curious mind.
yup. I noticed too.
i love how they all look after each other, great friendships there.
i have recently been learning to make this tea. would love to come try the real thing.
3:48 I like how they tell Babu not to sit village style because they are in the city now. lol
Babu is so protective!
Babu was worried about how folks living in the buildings must be climbing so many floors to the top. you must make him ride an elevator as I don't think he knows it exists. It will be a new experience for him. Babu, Raeen & Sarru are like the 3 Musketeers on an adventure of New things & experiences !
Do an elevator on the outside of a building so he can see he is being lifted up. Inside elevators that don’t have glass panels don’t show you what’s happening so he might not get the idea.
@@NanaSevers Yes that would be very thrilling for them for sure.
Especially if it's a glass lift.
@@anniemody Ahhhhh... maybe a normal one first is best. Don't want to give them all heart-attacks.
Please Advertize this channel on main channel too, all the subscribers and viewers sthere would absolutely love these videos.
Yes, I found this channel by chance, because I was watching all the other videos
I jus love babu bhai he’s such a sweet man
Badu wasn't angry. He was concerned Raeen and the other brother would get hurt. His reaction wasn't much different from an American elder. An American elder would say, "Son if you get hurt, how will I explain this to your parents or your wife?" The elder doesn't want to be in the position of having to give bad news.
As always, this was a good video. 👍
@sam Kayy that's not at all what that comment said SMH...either you read it too fast or your comprehension is lacking.
Exactly. He was concerned and as an elder in the village, what kind of person would he be if he let Raeen go down somewhere he could get easily hurt?
@@afenismama lol the irony. Read what he commented again.
Their vision of the world is limited. So, their hearts and minds are pure. Their value for life is also high until they mix with the so called modern world we live in, today where there's too many humans and so value of one is just 8 Billionth or can be rounded off to 0.
@@aliengod2039 i wouldn't say their vision of the world is limited. They learned a lot of thing. And even if it was limited, coming from a village doesnt equate to not having human feelings of spite, greed, rage and stuff like that. Evil can grow in the heart of any man, from the moment the first humans could struggle for a fruit with one another.
I will say though that their child like wonder, and specially babu's attitude strike me as them being free spirited
I love Babu! He has the heart of a loving and wise father and grandfather. Live long Babu! 💙 💙 💙
Raeen started running after the count of one. He was on the move for 2 & 3. lol
lol,, Babu " what do you mean?,,the common man show will pay the bill as we are their guest"....lol,, I love it!! He is so darn enjoyable to watch! They all are but I think Babu is my fav!
I know what you mean, I wish this guy had been my father!
Time stamp? I might have missed it while scrolling comments.

It's kind of sad that they have to worry how they're going to be able to afford a cup of tea.
if you notice, Babu looks better and has gained some weight since he started with these YT videos. The common man show has allowed him more meals on a regular basis. He was skin and bones before.
Babu treats them like they're his kids in a way watching out for them. But I see why he has to be that way if they all come from the same village. If anything did happen bad on his watch, he would have a bad name back home.
Could you imagine the shame if they come home and Raeen broke a leg or something? They would say, Babu, how could you let this happen? Raeen are you stupid, why did you not listen to Babu?? We raised you better than that! 😅
Are they all from the same village? I often wondered that.
@@charleshowie2074 I think I saw in another comment that only 2 of them new each other before so I think they might be from different villages?
@@charleshowie2074 It would not matter if they were from the same or different villages; Babu is the elder and it's understood that he should not allow the younger ones to be in a dangerous position. He could not just say, "The younger disobeyed me," because he is expected to command the full respect of the younger ones, just as they are expected to obey him. The shame would be shared, but he would be held to a higher standard.
@@bijou3000 I was just saying that I had always wondered if they were from the same village or not, it has nothing to do with this incident.
Having just discovered Babu today, and fallen in love with him (the others too, but c´mon... Babu!), I was worried that he had actually got angry, as he seems to be such a caring guy. Of course, it came from a place of love. Of course it did!
So wholesome. Just the peace these people both exude and internalize, really brightens anyone’s day.
I like this, letting them just do what they want, seeing what they do and hearing what they say, it also shows us the places they go more intimately. It's a winner.
I am impressed how active Babu is for his age. I hope when I reach his age that I will be just as active.
In a different video, I believe Babu said that he was 64. I'm almost certain the video was from last year so he's 65 by now.
This is one of my favorite videos, I love their interactions so much. If I didn't know any better I'd think those two were Babu's sons by the way he treats them.
Babu is so great!! Always looking out for the young guys. And I like how they hold hands when walking, they all take care of each other
Babu was so concerned about living in a tall building because of the stairs. I hope they were able to experience an elevator while there so that he can understand. Perhaps that video is still coming.
These ‘behind the scenes’ videos might be my favorite. They really help us get to know these gentlemen and connect with them even more. I love the way that they support and protect each other while exploring new places. So lovely.
Believe me when I say that playing and being silly is what keeps you young at heart. These videos are great I will probably never get to see India in person, and I love this perspective. ❤️
Did you ever take the on an elevator to show them how people lived on the top floors?
Nope
Do they live or do they thing so?
@@NoviceSquad please take them to elevator
@@NoviceSquad take them to a glass elevator.
Why does that tea look so good? I enjoy every second of you guys discovering new things and the way that you care about each other.
that tea is very potent, they put the tea with milk and cook it for half and hour or so, or the pot sits on the fire and they put more leaves and water in it, as needed, all day.
😂😂😂😂
Babu keeping the young 'uns in line 😊
I love these guys so much! Lol They are so sweet and funny! I love how they look out for each other 💝 now I see why Raeen was talking about Babu’s 4:00 tea brain bell 😂
It's beautiful how they care for each other and look after each other, like family. It touches my heart!
How did you guys manage to turn Babu into a 5 year old!!
Fantastic watching these wonderful men, I wonder how many people would like to adopt babu
First he was a villager. Now he's racing with a go pro in his hand. I just love seeing them experiencing the outside world.
I just love these guys to pieces...people like this keep my faith in humanity restored!
Babu is a kind soul he worried about those younger guys like a amazing grandpa they should be so happy that his heart is truly trying to keep them safe, healthy and alive God Blessed Babu
I love these men so much. They're amazing in their thirst for learning more. And Babu is such a wise man (who can lay down serious beats on a tabletop). If their faces pop up on my list, I watch for hours. Best show ever with these three.
First time I saw Babu tap his fingers on a table, i immediately thought, 'this man plays a tabla'. then he whips out his drum. Ha, he's a pro!
Regarding the 17-story building, it would have been great for Babu to ride on an elevator in a skyscraper.
Honor, respect and looking after each other's wellbeing. We Americans could learn a lot from this. ❤👍
Very true. You don't see this type of behavior in the states very often. Maybe among family members but not with friends or companions. I really love these guys and have a lot of respect for them.

I love the way Babu Bahi is taken care of by sarru and raeen! I would love them to come to the USA 🇺🇸 and see what a difference between their world and mine! I admire their love for one another! Unfortunately we live in a ugly world right now so it's refreshing to see respect and care for one another especially for our elder! Good job guys 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Whatever it's called that Raeen is wearing, it looks very nice on him! 😍

Love these in real life exploring videos
I love their way of looking after each other. It's so great too that they found an abandoned park and probably ended up having as much fun there as the video arcade. I'm curious what's going to happen with that site - will it be rehabilitated as a water area for the public to enjoy or is it going to be a something else?Reminds me of when I've had visitors and planned excursions then they find some obscure thing that I hadn't ever even heard of and it's fun, it's all part of the adventure :)
I have discovered this channel only recently, but I REALLY am enjoying seeing these people try and enjoy new things that they would never have seen before if not for this channel! Incredible. It's so wonderful, what you have done for them! They are gaining so much knowledge that can be used to help themselves and other people in the village. I wonder how the other villagers view them? I would love to see a behind the scenes video explaining how you find these villagers and what the process is like! Do they audition? Wonderful channel!
I do wish that this channel was advertised on the main channel, as I'm sure many of the subscribers would love to see the escapades on this channel. Maybe at the start of the next video, you could do a quick shout-out? Or put it in the description, or the top comment!
"If something untoward happens, my name will be spoiled in the whole village!" 🤣
If only everyone had Babu's sense of civic duty and fellowship toward their neighbours and others!
i love how they all have such a good sense of humor with each other, they seem to really care about each other
man thats the tiniest cup of tea ever
It is so beautiful how much they love and care for each other. Isn't it lovely for them to be experiencing all these new thing together so they can talk about them and reassure each other? I would love to find a later video where they got to go in a lift! Or at least on an escalator. I agree the glass lift might be terrifying. I would love someone in one of the penthouses to invite them in to admire the view! Can you imagine? 😃 God bless them!
I wonder how they would enjoy actually exploring one of the tall buildings they admire so much from afar?..could you get them up high on a roof or terrace?
Next time for sure
Babu would make a great health and safety officer! 😁
Babu does well in keeping up with Raeen and Sarru. I know how Babu feels when the tea clock goes off in your head, tak tak tak. I hope they had a great time.
Babu reminds me of my elders in my family.
Don't listen get smacked o the chancla!
Conozco la chancla bien...
They have such beautiful clothing! Very elegant style ❤
There is interesting relationship dynamics going on between Babu an the younger guys - he is clearly the father figure, or sees himself as such. Raeen seems to be the wild one, taking risks. Whenever he does so, Babu admonishes him and someties physically brings him to order.
These wonderful videos cheer me up so much. There's so much value and joy in the appreciation of everything the three of them experience 😁
These guys have become good friends. They have kind hearts.
Wish they can actually see the USA in person that would be so fabulous. Makes me appreciate everything I have
In just ten months they went from being surprised to see a plane go by to being surprised to get on one and travel.
It has been a pleasure to be able to accompany these men on their adventures.
i love this 3 together, they are so kind in their heart and soul and it makes me smile every time i see them:)
This is great
I used to be friends and work with a bunch of indians. they all always , always helped each other. if one person had a big job to do, others automatically lent a hand without being asked and the job was done quickly. They lived by many hands make short work. They also always shared their food with each other (and me !) even to the point of finding an empty cup and pouring half their tea in it to share with somebody else. if a man was left alone because his wife was out of town, another man's wife would automatically cook extra and send him meals.
I find myself smiling all the way through this videos! I love these men! ♥️♥️♥️
if I was given a small cup of tea like that. I would drink it and say thanks for the sample, now can I have a proper cup of tea please.
I love how protective they are of Babu, especially Raeem
Great video. Thank you for giving them the opportunity to visit the big city and giving us the pleasure to watch them having a good time.
This production is lovely. I'm sure after the pandemic, many people will happy to get involved in sending them to different parts of India. I think many people will be queueing up to drink chai with these guys. Babu makes me laugh. Aarru and Raeen reminds me of my love towards my grandmother.

Love the Respect and Genuine Love for their elders. In America, they put the elders on the backburner and tuck them away in nursing homes. U don't see nursing homes there bcuz families take care of their elders
Even though Raeen looks after Babu, Babu never lets them forget they are regarded as his own children! This made me laugh. Raeen was very close to knowing the power of the slipper
