Not going to lie I wasn’t sure if I could watch this one. I had a Ganglioma brain tumor removed July of 2022 it was a 12 hour surgery. I was pretty medicated for that first week. They were not able to get it all removed safely because once you pass 12 hours under anesthesia you run a greater risk of stroke. So I went back July of 23 for my “resection” …fancy word for them to go in & remove the remaining tumor. 6 hours later I was done. Last MRI showed all the tumor is still gone. Thank God it was not cancerous. The Ohio State University was amazing. I honestly fell asleep before I even got 1/2 through this video. If you ever want a few suggestions on things they checked & did that could still fit perfectly with a ASMR let me know. I survived so I’m happy to be here to share my story. ❤. Thanks for the video.
@@Andevv I am. Once a year MRI to make sure nothing tries to grow back. I had an amazing team of specialists & medical staff. Have a few post op changes but nothing I can’t handle. It could have been so much worse. Thank you for asking ♥️
Me, too - tumor next to the brain (acoustic neuroma) - and long surgery, with an extended recovery. That was two years ago. So, I can relate a bit to what you went through. Good you got through that! I hesitated to have Dr. Cozy work on my brain! But it was fine. I liked how she did “my dear”!
@@iadorenewyork1 glad you are doing good post surgery. We could probably give Dr. Cozy a few suggestions on the pre & post op things they have you do & test. The blink, smile, raise your eyebrows. & so on. Of course rounds were always at 5am so they were my “wake up call”. Being a University hospital it was always a group of them every morning. Oh & I had 2 different teams. Neurosurgery & ENT surgeons. They NEVER rounded together because why would they want to make sense & not disturbe the patient twice. 🤣
Medical equipment is pretty easy to find and buy. I live in a natural disaster prone area and we’re told to be ready to survive for 1week on our own. My First Aid kit is stocked almost as well as an ambulance would allow me to preform basic surgery if I had to.
Honestly your channel is such great exposure therapy for me. I had a very traumatic birth with my second and this really helps my body relax and not go into panic mode in medical situations. Thank you so much!
i used/use this channel for the same reason. i have a bad needle fear and this channel was apart of my exposure therapy as well. my fear is much better now. keep going with your exposure, its worth it in the long run
I usually just listen to asmr at work or to sleep. Last night I tried to watch on of your videos to fall asleep. Woke up 20 minutes in. I dropped my phone on my face as I fell asleep 😅😴😴😴 either way. Thank you for what you do. Soooo relaxing.

I have brain surgery coming up on December 30th 2024 for a Chiari decompression surgery. My therapist recommended I watch surgery preparation meditation videos so I decided to see if there were any ASMR style videos since I love ASMR, I’m surprised to see this detailed video. I hope watching this will make the process a little less scary for me.

You would have been told to put down the laptop and hydrate lollll! I go into mom mode unless you’re bleeding. Then it’s nurse mode. I guess if you’re really sick you get nurse mode too. Only Chelsea in this one because my set up was sort of awkward and made it tricky to move around and have multiple people but hopefully it’s still okay! Hope you’re having a nice weekend! ❤️❤️

A few weeks ago I had an eye operation and after three days I couldn't stand the pain, that is, the doctor told me to take paracetamol, but the pain was so bad that I couldn't take it.
I went to a doctor's office near my house and they gave me medication, everything was fine until 7 pm my legs started moving out of nowhere and after about 3 hours I was like in another world and it lasted for days.
