    DIY personal fit steel pipe stool
    Before glueing the two bars, I made some spot welds in the tube!!

      My thoughts exactly. Should have welded on a big washer onto the leg that is bigger than the holes as s fail safe

      The guy is mostly doing conceptual/art pieces, so I would not expect any of them to last in utilitarian/commential setting.

    The thing I love about you is your pushing against the boundaries of design. Is it a stool or is it art or is it both? Does it matter? To me it reinforces the fact you're an Artisan.

    I don't feel like the epoxy for the support onto the seat to the legs was a good idea cuz what if you end up wiggling the epoxy loose and support goes up your butt not joking this could be serious

    Good work, I would have holed, and threaded the rods in the middle (at a 60degree angle sothat it would be easier to install the M6 set screw) instead of just relying on epoxy resin to hold the weight.

    Nice piece; though the thought of the vertical spring steel support sliding up through the stool seat brings tears to my eyes. I know this can’t happen but the thought won’t go away.

      Capping the center pipe is a must. I could not sit on such a thing without clenching. Just looking at it is uncomfortable.
